- Flight Report onboard Air Transat Airbus A310-300 from Paris Charles de Gaulle CDG to Quebec YQB in business class.
Air Transat is the third-largest Canadian airline, based in Montreal, Quebec, operating scheduled and charter flights, serving 60 destinations in 25 countries. The Canadian holliday airline operates a fleet of Airbus A330-200, Airbus A330-300, Airbus A310-300, Airbus A321 LR and Boeing 737-800.
The last Airbus A310-300 still flying will soon be replaced by the brand new Airbus A321 LR on the transatlantic routes from Canada to Europe.

Million Miles Marc A310s are better than the A321LRs
I work for FedEx and I just fly boxes from point A to B. I couldn't imagine flying people who complain all the time. I'd end up murdering someone. Thank God boxes don't talk.

@@nateayi Funny. During long haul flights from the US to China, we have to go in the cargo area to make nothing has shifted. Sometimes I swear I do hear voices emanating from those boxes. Maybe? I don't know.

Actually it doesn't really feel tight. In my opinion a 3 3 3 a310 or a330 is much much better than a 767

Good video. You should write "Quebec City" in the title. Quebec is a large province its like writing "from Paris to Texas"

PARIS CDG - Terminal 3 look like a factory. Very low cost.
However I love the Airbus A310. Love this Tiny wide body aircraft.

it almost the last original air transat flights. In next few months, Air Canada will own it. I have a feeling that the A320 neo will be transfert to air canada fleet to remplace their old's 320. By the way, you lucky guy to fly on A310, one of the last who's powered by the lovely noisy CF6 engines (the others was the 767-200 and 747-300/400)
Amazing...I had no idea that any of these aircraft were still in service.
CDG T3 is not dedicated to charter flights, but to low cost airlines (regular routes). Otherwise cool, A310 is pretty rare these days, Air Transat might be one of the last chances to fly it.
Are there not any charter flights at T3 ? I know Vueling, Level and all those low cost airlines are there but i think charter flights are also at T3
Iran air also operates the a310

I've flown Transat from Vancouver / Glasgow numerous times, always on time, great flight, good service and well priced. I will be going again to Glasgow this September but now that Transat is owned by A.C. I guess it's no more eight hours and twenty five minutes non stops Vancouver / Glasgow. Really too bad, now I have to search for flights trying to avoid Heathrow ,,,,
Well I mean if AC doesn’t change transits routes, you’ll still be good! They might even start using their own a330 for that flight!
But A.C. obviously have changed Air Transat routes ,,, Vancouver / Glasgow ,,, best I can find for my travel dates is trip duration 16 hours, cost $ 1385.90 not including " Option Plus ". A year ago this September I travelled Vancouver / Glasgow with Air Transat, trip duration eight hours twenty five minutes non stop. The cost was $ 925.80 I added " Option Plus " for the round trip total cost for my ticket $ 1104.80.
Yes well done Air Canada !! you really screwed up a great flight for passengers flying to Glasgow !! ,,, also I will add, on the four previous flights with Air Transat Vancouver / Glasgow the planes have been quite full so it's not that there is not enough demand for that non stop route.
Indeed I can still travel Vancouver / Glasgow with B.A. or A.C. you fly into Heathrow ( friggin nightmare ) transfer airports then fly to Glasgow ( $ 1588.00 and trip duration sixteen and a half hours ).
Ah ,, all is not lost I found a much better deal, Icelandair, Vancouver / Keflavik / Glasgow, trip duration ten and a half hours ( an hour and a half stop over Keflavik ) nice flexible dates cost between $ 850.00 and $ 1000.00 ,,,, have a nice day.

I had no idea that the A310 was still operating with air transat. Looking at the business class. Its a Petite Business class. The A319 from Qatar has 8 seats and seems to be a bit more roomy than this and the engine is more quieter in the cabin too. I will however have to complain about economy class on this long route. I do not see i individual IFE screens and i will have been bored on this flight. I hope the air transat A321Neo is better.

Air Transat doesn't have Business. It's called Club class. The reason of it being not considered as business is that it is much cheaper than business in any other airline and it is just some extra seat space and service. Not worth it if you ask me.

For infomasion of know a310 200 and a310 300 is range not same well body same but range a310 200 just 5.000km a310 300 is 8.900-9.500km

Always scares a engine shaking during a turbulence. but for some reason you don,t stop looking it shaking!!
The wing flex helps dampen turbulence. As far as I know, only one aircraft a long time ago has ever been brought down by turbulence and aircraft are now required to be able to handle 1.5 times the turbulence they may encounter. If the wings were inflexible, they would snap under extreme turbulence. So have no fear. Some wing flex is perfectly safe, and aircraft wings are designed well beyond the level of stress they might encounter in flight due to aerodynamics or turbulence.
The A321LR operates on the Montreal to Bordeaux route.

Lord Kek yeah I noticed that as well and the main thing I was waiting for was to hear the takeoff sound of the A310 which we don’t get to hear often and sure enough it’s gets muffled. Sounds like something covered the microphone I guess. Daaaaarn

I will just back off in the first place to be honest about the safety. 31 years old is absolutely insane and despite good maintenance or refurbishment of seats and technical stuff, I still can’t believe😬😬😵😵
There are still planes flying from the 1970s and even sooner. 31 years is old, but not extreme.
A310... the A318 of wide bodies. (as far as i know the shortest wide body around (2 meters shorter than the shortest 767)

Club class is the equivalent of a business class. Each Airlines give a different name to their business class, Air Transat is not the only one to call it club

@@asianwg9744 the difference between business and club is just about the name, as Air Transat is a Holliday Airline they can't really call it Business class as their target is Holliday makers that's why they call it club. But the product is the same as on a business class

9-abreast seating in Economy. Horrible! 8-abreast was perfect in all the A310’s I ever flew on.
