I love seeing updates about your collection, I’ve been waiting for a new room tour since the end of 2021 and so glad we will see it soon. Also when you showed your Pokémon collection you have Legends Arceus after Scarlet and Violet but it actually came before Scarlet and Violet.
I might chance that back to be in release order. I sort of had the main series together
Inspiring collection. I've been casually collecting off and on for years. Got decently into video collecting with amiibo. I'm starting to get more serious with it now.

I love this display! I wish I had the space to display my complete amiibo collection as such. I would love to see a video of you actually reorganizing a shelf of whatever theme in real time, explaining your thought process and trial and error, I wouldnt care if it's over an hour long because that's how long I naturally take when organizing my collection
This could be interesting - might take hours as you said but interesting. There is a lot of trial and error for sure and puttering

What are your thoughts on the multi-pack amiibos? (like the three-in-one for the Mii fighters, or the 2-packs for Pyra/Mythra and Steve/Alex) Would you prefer all your sealed amiibo to be in individual packs, or do you not mind the multi-packs? I collect opened/out-of-box amiibo, so it's not something that bugs me, but I've always been curious.

I don't mind the 3 packs. They are an easier way to get several Amiibo at once, but they do look odd on the shelf and a bit out of place. I think in Japan a lot of the packs were also sold as individuals
The display looks great! Having them on an angle is something I don't think I would've ever thought of but it worked out.
I recently set up my bookcase for my Nintendo items and with my 12 boxed amiibos unfortunately only 1 couldn't fit (Sorry R.O.B) but I think it worked out well. I would get more amiibo, there's a lot of ones I am interested in getting but I had missed my opportunity so now they're all selling above what I am willing to spend on them. (Cloud, Banjo, and Shulk restock when Nintendo???)
You're more organized than me. I've just got all my amiibo scrunched together on two small shelves.

Running out of space was always an issue / worry. I am fortunate my wife allowed the basement to be Nintendo

I used to order my Amiibo in the same order a they are in the Smash Bros Ultimate roster. I don’t know if you also like the idea.

I just display all my amiibo on a table. Just randomly set them in there. I post pictures of them so I keep taking them and putting them back 😅

Awesome! So I’m actually getting into Nintendo collecting myself- partially because of your videos haha. But do you have any times for me? I’m 20 years old so i definitely have a soft spot for the GameCube even though things for the GameCube are pretty expensive. Do you have any suggestions or tips? And have you ever seen the Japanese GameCube games before? Where they have little box sleeves and I find the box art to be far better than the US ones haha. Again thank you for your awesome videos. You’ve inspired me in a way. Wanting to collect Nintendo stuff like you
That's cool to hear. For tips, have a wanted list of what you really want and a budget. Try to stay focused on your favorite console or game series. I do have a Collecting Tips 101 series of videos that are older videos but they are still quite useful. GameCube is one of my favorites too - if you like the Japanese GameCube games there is a Freeloader disk that allows you to play Japanese games on a North American console (but the text would still be in Japanese).
@@NintendoCollecting actually I have seen all of your collecting 101 videos a couple weeks ago haha. But yeah I also wanted to know what specific shelving you have. I assume with your GameCube shelves you use those same shelves for all of your other Nintendo systems in display right? I was going to go to IKEA or something to see what I could get but I want adjustable shelving to have the game cases fit well if you know what I mean. And also what is your personal rule of thumb regarding the quality of your GameCube system/ boxes. And games? Allot of your stuff look brand new but I wanted to see what you do to buy things that satisfy you with its condition. But anyways thanks for responding
Im just glad that I never cared about having a sealed collection, at this point the box design has changed like 3+ times over the smash line so them not all looking the same kind of ruins the point imo

I’m curious about something though. Why are you (and i know many others also) keeping some stuff sealed and some opened? Why don’t you just unbox everything you have? Is there a specific reason for keeping some stuff NIB? 😊
Good question! Some items I already have opened and I have a duplicate sealed. Sometimes this is just for fun, sometimes to hope it gains value and then I can trade it later on, and sometimes just to display. I try not to have a sealed game as my only copy. For controllers etc. the sealed ones are often highly collectible and desirable.

I remember reading an article and Sakurai said every character would get an amiibo. I wish I knew what the article was to give evidence.
I think the issue is getting the right positioning quality that both parties are happy with.
I’m very discouraged because I really wanna collect but the market keeps moving without me and I won’t be able to actually collect until I’m an adult
For your switch collection where is the original white switch oled and yellow and light blue switch lites?
The Switch Lites I need to collect more of (I have the Coral Pink one but it is out on loan) and the white OLED I actually traded away for a special edition normal switch I needed (I think it was the Eevee one)

with the amiibo are you doing them by release date of the actual amiibo? it'd be kinda cool to have them setup like the smash roster is by when they were added in the game
Yes by Smash Roster order was my original idea but I need to go through them all and fix their order since re-doing the shelf - thanks!
Have you considered different lighting? I think those clear plastics are going to get damaged over time.

I jave a question how much skylanders do you have and are you going to collect skylanders
My wife and I have about 30 Skylanders - we mostly focused on the Mario releases and we have some from Superchargers
