Remember playing this in 98 and even to this day it's still just as spine tingling. The soundtrack swap for the remake makes the game so much better. Capcom have nailed it with this soundtrack. No wonder combined sales of the original and remake are around 15m. Legendary!
“Resident Evil 2” is my favourite game ever. Everything about that game is just spot on - especially the music and creepy locations. Together they convey the most eerie and spooky atmosphere of any game. The library theme is my favourite piece of music from the game. Although the library is a safe location without any enemies, this music makes it one of the creepiest rooms in the police station. Danger lurking behind you… Genius! 😊👍🏻
The library's moments are falling through the wooden floor, positioning the shelves in order to proceed the game and my favorite, sensing the zombies breaking through the windows in either the corridor where you encounter the first licker or the one that leads to the basement.

I've gotten such Nightmare on Elm St vibes with this tune. For some reason it kinda reminds me of Dream Warriors with a sprinkle of Dream Master, with how much you get pursued by the tyrant, think the color schemes in the library is kind of reminiscent of the Freddy snake trying to eat Kristen, and the piano is where I get Dream Master vibes from.
