    I was out of my face moisturizer. In the medicine cabinet I found a bottle of cherry flavored (oil) of
    organic Echanesia. I've been using this for 3 months now and m y skins has felt like this since I was 10 years old. I can do without the cherry, but I won't waste my money on anything else again!
    Oh, my Rosceasha has totally calmed down people!

    Thank you for this! We keep a bottle of what my father calls "Alchemical strength vanilla" made from glycerin and vanilla beans. My wife also uses it to fix food colorings that have gotten too dry. It's nice to know more about it.

    Just so you know, a reading on the viscometer scale doesn't tell us much unless you have something to compare it to. "High' can mean 30' or the stratosphere. Also, include the freezer temperature next time (32 or zero degrees Fahrenheit?). Also, there were two OH and one HO?

    can 100% ethanol and glycerin mix together to make hand sanitizer ?
    what is the proportions ?
    percentages or by weight ?

    • @milliondollarbatchmaker
      @milliondollarbatchmaker  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well, what you're describing is a liquid sanitizer not the typical hand sanitizer gel. SInce this crisis started, our facility has been directed to follow FDA guidelines for hand sanitizers. Ethanol should be no less than 65%, Glycerin is basically to help with moisturization (as alcohol can be quite drying) use at 1% or less, the remainder can be water or some combo of water and aloe vera gel.

      I'm not exactly the brightest light bulb on the Christmas tree .
      what I have understood 60% off the mix consists of 100% ethanol the other 40% will be 1%Glycerin and 39% water or some combo of water and aloe vera gel.
      percentage by volume or by weight ?
      thank you and God bless

    I made a diy face moisturizer using only oils like rosehip and sweet almond. If I add the vegetable glycerin would I need to add a preservative?

    • @milliondollarbatchmaker
      @milliondollarbatchmaker  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, you actually do not need a preservative in your case. Unless you have water in this formula, there is no need for preservative.
