Many say Papaji is sweet and kind. I can see that. But, I find him to be very powerful, sharp, no-nonsense, disciplined, a task-master, unyielding, a disciplinarian.
I have seen him to be so sweet and kind to the more innocent students. But, to students with a harsher karmic blockage, Papaji becomes a sharp knife, not afraid to cut deep. He is quite amazing. Reminds me of my guru who used to laser right through me; cornered, no chance of the ego escaping. And, it is great, but extremely uncomfortable, threatening to the ego.
