The Lion and Lazarus have one goal in mind. To protect humanity from all of its enemies. And as long as that stays true. I think Lazarus will become one of the lions most favored sons
Almost certainly no, the Hunt will not end. Chaos has long known about the Fallen. Fallen warriors of the 1st Legion is a part of the wider Chaos-community, have been high-ranking warlords within the Black legion and worked directly with Typhus. And while Lazarus is critical, he is still obeying the oaths of the Inner circle and the orders of Azrael. And since the Hunt is fully sanctioned by the Lion... those doubts are not leading anywhere.
It does make sense. The Lion doesn't accept back those tainted. So until they are all gone, it should keep going. Buut smaller scale probably. I can see a specialist wing being formed for that purpose. While the others will help the Lion with the imperium at large.
I don’t think the hunt for the fallen will end but I think It will be directed in a far better way than the DA have been conducting it for the past 10 millennia. In the lions novel he was definitely not a fan of the things he was hearing from his sons he’d forgave when being told about the current chapter and how the chapter had been conducting itself over the years. Though I look forward to more redeemed rejoining the lion and their brothers as well as the true traitors being hunted and given bonding time with Asmodai
As a Dark Angels player and fan. Its a double edged sword because with these developments you get posotive plot progression but lose that grimdark aspect that made them cool in the first place
The only difference is now the “oops i got caught in the wash” DA loyalists will be redeemed and given a chance to serve the Emperor - and it will also serve as the bridge to Corax/Russ/Khan returning with their own ‘warp powers’ or looks and G-man will be the ‘human face’ of the Primarchs who will lead the charge against the newly resurged Chaos threat (and the new potential ‘god’ of Vashtor - which i think could result in some WILD shit like a shard of Magnus or the clone Fulgrim becoming redeemed - or Morty somehow getting ‘cleansed’ and Typhus rising to take the mantle he always clearly had with Papa Nurgle)
Didn't the Lion forgive the fallen? See that doesn't sound like the same guy who, when the galaxy was on fire stuck to his principles of punish those who were lacking.
Thanks for commenting mate! He certainly forgave Fallen who weren't corrupted by chaos and wanted to fight on behalf of humanity however those who were too far gone were either defeated or executed.
I've never seen a lot of the art in this video. I haven't bought a Codex since 4rd edition so I guess I missed a lot of art. Most newer GW art feels pretty soulless, so I can only assume this is mostly fanart.
It's definitely art by the global 40k community mate. If you're ever curious and want to see more, I credit all the Artists in the description of each video by order of their art's appearance.
