    12:30 - I purchased my Mavic Air 2 about 2 months ago. DJI has provided a major software update allowing you to control the YAW and GIMBLE speed and stopping. In other words, it's a LOT smoother.

    I loved my Mavic Air, but where I live, I had so much interference that I could only go as far as 2000 feet before it cut out, I was pissed. Mavic Air 2's Occusync was a game changer for me. I can now go 3x as far. 6000 feet doesn't sound like much, but in my area full of factories and old metal structures, it's more than enough for me.

      @@vanitas8582 The Mavic Air 1 is more mature than the Zino 2, but it has issues with the transmission distance - too short and makes a loud noise. If I was you, I would save until you can buy the Mavic Air 2 - it is a lot better, not even comparable... - if you buy the MA2 you won't need any other quad for 2 or 3 years - it's so feature-rich, smooth flyer and it flies further than both...

    One thing I prefer the mavic air 1 over the 2 is the battery is under the drone and if your flying in a very bright hot sunny day it's not an issue as the battery is well protected. I wished they had done that to Mavic 2 series and the air 2. I've had battery issues with the mavic 2 and the mavic pro 1. Too hot environment will cause the battery to swell in time specially flying between 11am to 2pm when the sun is directly overhead. But with Mavic air and Phantom series 3 to 4pro never had a battery issue what so ever. Phantom series are well shielded from direct sunlight.

    A friend of mine (Fred Konczak) has had the Mavic Air 1 for over a year now. The BEST distance he's ever gotten was around 2300 feet away. Over the open water at Morgan's Point. In normal flying around urban, suburban areas it disconnects as close as 50 feet and has never gotten farther than 1000 feet. I'm trying to get him to shake out the bucks for the Mavic Air 2. That was your only lifesaver if the drone started heading for a tree or wall during autonomous intelligent modes. Its the only thing that stopped the drone dead in its tracks and made it stand still and hover. It has been a life saver on so many occasions for me. Hitting a stop button on the APP is not a comeback id accept, bec many a time the APP just shuts down and reboots while the drone is mid flight. A few reviews are popping up with the AIR 2 having mid flight app crashes and reboots, full screen blackouts. That too the app makes the whole phone go black, not just the app crashing where you can quickly restart it.

    Going on about the battery level on the screen. Just click the battery symbol and it tells you everything in clear bright green.

      Nope. Sorta but not really. Guess you didn't see my other video showing the difference side by side. Lol
      But thanks for coming in thinking you know all about it. Gotta love that. ;)

    I pushed my ma1 to 13.5k feet away, but I want more distance so guess what I'm about to do.

    This review feels a bit biased tho, you clearly like the Mavic Air one more than the 2.

      The design of the air I like
      Is it has the features of the newer ones it would be dope.
      It’s a WiFi signal so isn’t so great.

    Just tap the battery icon to get a better view of the battery status. Great video!

      Sadly that doesn't pull up an easy to view slider or any details that help mid flight at a glance. Hopefully this will be corrected in an update.

    I have dji mavic air, and i dont like the distance it can maintain :(

    • @SeanOzz
      @SeanOzz  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Its a wifi connection. It like all wifi drones is a shorter signal. 1000ft is pretty common, some get 2000-4000 with the air which is great for wifi.
      Occusync is a stronger better connection though.

    It's almost 12km away!😱Wow,.us dji drone is fcc. Not at Malaysia. Dji drone at Malaysia CE. I must modified hardware🤔😄

    IT WOULD BE BETTER IF YOU DID THE MAVIC 2 PRO VS. MAVIC AIR 2!!
    Rememberthe DJI was bragging about the upgraded second-generation ocusync 2.0. it supposed to have less interference and go 6.2 mi unobstructed or 10km
    this is more competition with the mavic 2 pro than the mavic air considering the upgrades and how many things it does better than the mavic 2 pro..
    They claim it's the best transmission system they ever had along with the longest flight time SO LET'S SEE.
    I HAVEN'T HAD VERY GOOD LUCK WITH THE MAVIC AIR 2 COMPARED TO MY MAVIC PRO FLYING IN THE SAME DIRECTIONS IN MY HIGHLY CONGESTED AREA.. THE MAVIC AIR TO DID DOUGH BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL MAVIC PRO AND MAYBE EVEN WORSE IN SOME SITUATIONS..
    I feel that their flight time, and ocusync 2.0 on the mavic Air 2 is false advertising.

      I'll be doing the zoom vs the air 2 since the air 2 is missing all the features that make it an air. Its technically a zoom light so those test will come.
      It takes time to make videos though. ;)

      @@SeanOzz
      Yes that would be great doing the mavic 2 zoom which is obviously the same transmission as the mavic 2 pro vs. The mavic Air 2
      Let's see if DJI IS A BUNCH OF FRAUDS STATING THE MAVIC AIR 2 HAS THE BEST TRANSMISSION OF ANY DRONE TO DATE!! 2ND GENERATION OF OCUSYNC 2.0

    The mavic air 2 is a superior drone. However, I bought the original Air used. The Air 2 used price is double that of the original, here in the UK. Is it twice the drone. Anyone got experience of both, please comment.

    • @SeanOzz
      @SeanOzz  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. I have tons of experience with both and many videos of both. What questions do u have?

    • @mrpcb2566
      @mrpcb2566 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Where I live I seem to suffer from lots of interference. Power lines, large metal structures and WiFi. Even military transmitters. I try to stay away from these, but they can be an issue re WiFi signal. I appreciate your video, but you seem to be away from all interference where you are. How does the ocusync compare with WiFi in areas where there are lots of signals and WiFi interference. Have you done a video under more challenging circumstances?

    • @SeanOzz
      @SeanOzz  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Occusynch is always much better than wifi.

  • @Goon872

    My mavic mini has way better transmission then my mavic air one. But my mavic air 2 has what seems like endless tramision. It flys way better then my evo 2. Mavic 2 pro or zoom is still the king. By the way i live in dillion for years. Right on that lake too. Would dream of having the money and the solid women to live up there again.

    • @SeanOzz
      @SeanOzz  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      interesting, the mini is wifi also but i hear that it does have a great wifi signal. I have an evo one and i am not a huge fan of it's flight characteristics. the two is similar. I dream of one day being able to buy a house up here myself.

      air 2 will be a super nice upgrade from the spark when you can.
