The reason she got the one of a kind armor is she was the first player to solo the hydra. It was a "special reward"
The conversations at the end are hilarious. The "Chat"
Chat is the GOAT but also the least realistic part of the anime. By far not enough gold farm advertising or lewd ASCII drawings.
It was a "World First (server first)" reward.

This is a videogame anime done right. As wholesome and hilarious as Maple's adventures are, I really want to play NWO.
I would DEFINITELY recommend taking the time to pause and read the Chat Logs. They gives insight into how the general gamerbase views Maple and her actions.
This show is such a gem.
This isn't an isekai. She isn't being transported to another world; she's playing a game that she can stop playing. Not all anime, nowadays, is isekai just because.
They know. It's something they mentioned in their Shangri-La videos. It's just easier to address it that way because it's so close and "Isakei" is 1 word.
There's quite a lot of female MC isekais including some cute ones. Here's a bunch I remember watching:
- Ascendance of a bookworm (you seriously have to watch this one)

Thei could at least give more info about how she gets new armor and skill, we know she must defeath Hydra solo to get armor, and be under LVL 20 and have maximum imunity against poisons in order to get skills.

No matter how many times I have watched this anime, it's still so fun watching her play the game and watching how youtubers react to Maple, the walking fortress, who's both purely wholesome and highly destructive. lol
I love this anime. It's a nice departure from the typical fantasy anime and I hope yall enjoy it

Other not so well known isekais with girl protag that i know that i kinda like would be
"Kuma kuma kuma bear"
"I shall survive using only potion"
There are a lot more, like Gekai Elise or How Raenalia survived the Wynkight mansion (something like this).
And finally, not really an isekai but pretty good nonetheless "7th time loop"

Bofuri! This anime is so much fun.
The anime kind of glosses over exactly how absurd Maple's playstyle is, especially in the beginning. Every major skill or item she gets that has a ridiculous effect also has a ridiculous condition to unlock it, like being in combat for an hour straight while dealing and receiving no damage, being the first person to solo-clear a dungeon on their first try, staying still for three hours while under attack, eating enemies to death, etc. She spent seven hours nibbling on the poison dragon before it finally ran out of HP and died.
Kadokawa is actually collecting weirdly entertaining fantasy

Such a fun little anime. The animation and fight scenes later are surprisingly excellent.
Wow wow wow wow wow wow. Another one of my Bangers. Brothers Yeo, you love all of my top faves and this won't be different. The world building and music? Chefs kiss. There's a character called fredericka, man... her theme is everything to me. The second season OST is amazing and I LOVE the final confrontation of bests in the later episodes. Kadokawa did good. I'm glad you guys started another of my faves

This one is also a lot like Shangri-la frontier, except more cute and slice of life.
This anime is is quite enjoyable. Basically zero stress because zero stakes, but it's fun. I like to watch it when I'm feeling stressed IRL.
This is best comedy+game anime out there for me.

There's nothing dramatic happening, its just a story about people enjoying the game,a nd you know what? its allright.

In my opinion one of the best female lead isekai' out there.

WHat important to understand its that Maple as NONE of the Common sens that gamers have.
After a couple of years of playing games there is some "Common sens" that develops, things that you know when playing a game and usually things that are common from game to game.
But Maple as NONE OF THAT, since she never played any games before, so she always does things like she think its supposed to be, and she constantly find loopholes and out of the box thinking that even the Devs din't forsee when making the game since essentialy the game is in its early release stage.
So she end up getting skills in ways that NO ONE "Sane" with Game's Common sens would actually do and basicly break the game.
So yeah she is kinda Bug exploiting, but i ain't gonna spoil anything, you'll see how it goes.

I absolutely love Bofuri ❤ it's no masterpiece but it's stupid fun to watch.
I don't count this one a full isekai since she isn't dead and still logs out as normal we she is done playing . And yes there are female isekai, So I'm a Spider, So What?/ Didn't I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?! / The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash / Magic Knights of Rayearth (this one was before isekai became a common genre) To name a few

Wdym there's no female isekai? As far as traditional isekai goes, there's Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear, which is very good, not to mention Spider... As for non-traditional isekai, there's plenty of Villainess isekai's out there... And that's not even taking into account that this one isn't an isekai lol
