Chaminawonyeah!
Ugly is most definitely a very wrong chosen word here.
Black metal and death metal.
I love that ''ugly'' screeching and growling.
Yellowknife1991 not me lol, can’t stand that shit death metal sucks
@@skogen_takeheimens Death Metal doesn't suck, if you don't like it there's no problem, but don't say it sucks.
@@skogen_takeheimens "Metalhead" Izzy
@@Cineastre Death metal isn't the only metal.. But Izzy is right. Death vocals are hardly done right. Black metal and metalcore are even worse. There is nothing pleasing about screeching and whining in singing.
@@skogen_takeheimens Well, that you say it's a fact that death metal sucks, sucks.
I mean: It's just your opinion but have you ever listened to the band "Death"? Have you ever listened to "Decapitated"?
geddys voice is incredible but you show a clip of him singing when hes way past his prime and old? wtf
Exactly
He did that do dave mustaine aswell
bob dylan and kurt don’t have ugly singing voices
Claudio is a beautiful man with a beautiful voice and I will not have you insulting him
Although I'm not a fan, Marilyn Manson is one of the most underrated and talented singers of all time.
@Morning Star In the 90s and 2000s Manson was ridiculed by even most metal and goth scene people because the rumor he blow some guy on stage and took his ribs out to suck himself off. I'm sure non of which is true. All of which made him hated indiscriminately though.
A voice isn't ugly just because you can's sing pop songs with it, and to be fair Kurt has a very beautiful voice as demonstrated on MTV unplugged so it isn't even an "ugly" voice that rules, it's a voice that made a stamp in the grunge scene and rules over all, argubly
Billy Corgan... Probably #1 if you're really ranking on how distasteful they can sound, yet how well they fit.
It gets real ugly on XYU.
Brian Johnson 4 LIFE (LOVE AND RESPECT for Lemmy too)
Kurt Cobain? Axl Rose? Geddy Lee?!
Claudio Sanchez has a beautiful voice wtf
Everyone have different styles some people like it some doesn't mean it's ugly ... I had to explain it !

Edit : and they added Dave mustain as well ...GREAT!
Metal- Brotherhood They meant different
@@yoda4731 I think I know what the difference between ugly and Different!
I guess I get bored easily with music. I will listen to "ugly" singers, as long as the music sounds decent, and it doesn't sound like something that plays 25 times a day on the top-20 stations.
They forgot Tom Waits
and Lou Reed
I've always said billy corgan sounds like he is whining all the time I do not to this day know the appeal of the pumpkins and I grew up when they came out on the scene
My friend introduced me to smashing pumpkins not too long ago and I said he sounds like spongebob
I guess his voice just sounds so vulnerable in his slow songs and SO angry is his heavier ones, it just really works for me
Holy, most of these singers have the most unique and best voices in the entire history,
What's the name of the song Billy Corgan was singing? It's great.
Disarm...
In the clip of Dave singing they showed, he kinda sounded like a metal Forrest Gump.
I'm sorry... But Brian Johnson does not have any type of ugly voice.
Agree. Definitely unconventional, but his voice is perfect for AC/DC's party rock style.
I agree with you also. AC/DC was lucky to find a perfect replacement for Scott. I am a Megadeth fan and I think that Dave Mustaine has an ugly voice, but I could not imagine listening to Megadeth without him.
Does anyone know the songs from 0:07 and 1:19
Mastodon- Ghost of Karelia
1:19 PIL- Under the house
Ozzy Osbourne, David Lee Roth, and Cyndi Lauper, Shane Mcgowan
Shane McGowan needs more respect
Remove David Lee Roth and the list is complete
Geddy Lee's vocals are not ugly in their slightest, old or newer vocals of his, they fit the music perfectly.
Where is Udo?
I was expecting Tom Waits to be here 🤔
Kurt had the best voice
How could you not include Udo Dirkschneider - he has such a unique voice and delivery that only metal can contain him.
Geddy Lee was just older in that video. His voice was and is legendary. Same with Kobain and Rose
JewBoi6 calling Geddys voice ugly is equatable to a felony
