So glad to see you out trout fishing Brother Vernon! Congrats on the new PB! I still want to add a Tiger to my life list too...might be time to get out to Eagle Valley hehe. Always look forward to your videos. I definitely have learned a lot from you 😎

Thanks Bud. I never felt so at the time, but I am kind of bummed that I did not do a video out at Eagle Valley. Go get some tigers for my part too.

Very nice Vernon, I have acquired a like to trout fishing again after years of pike and walleye fishing. Great video.😉

Thanks, I do believe it's nice to mix it up from time to time, you know: variety is the spice of live...

I love those ponds. There's another fishing dock further down the way, and they will supposedly be building more of them around the pond.
I also caught my first Tiger Trout there, although he was only 7" it was a thrill to catch this "new" species in Manitoba.

Indeed, I still need my tiger... What did you catch them on?

Lovely site and natural beauty. I always wondered if there is a suitable alternative to lead weights? Anything that would not rust? I am sure lead is not environmentally friendly in our water sources. What do you think?
Nice demonstration of how to make those knots.
Thanks again for a great video.

Tungsten weights! They're a bit pricey but definitely much better for you and the environment.

Yup, Like ptceee said, tungsten is a good alternative. It's also heavier for it's size. For trout fishing, you even get tungsten putty for fly fishing. But as mentioned, it's expensive and not really something most anglers use.

Boy Vernon I don’t think those Canadians know what a pond is. That’s more like a huge lake in Arizona and Nevada.😊

Don't know Ralph, it sure looks like a pond compared to Lake Mead...
