Great video. My wife and I are planning a trip to punta Cana and appreciate your reviews. I would appreciate some info on dos and donts at each resort, like tipping and dress codes, etc.
It was definitely a step up from the prior one in most ways. Of the 6 we've been to now, it was probably the third nicest... also the third most expensive.
What a beautiful video filled with tons of information...I'm loving all the DR videos; it's fun to contrast and compare. Will you be including prices in future videos? It would be great to know pricing from most expensive to least with the all inclusive resorts featured. I hope you're having as much fun as it looks...what a gorgeous resort! 🙂
Hey Rhonda. We kind of got away from listing prices in our videos because they fluctuate so much, and we don't want people expecting to get cheap hurricane season rates that we get when they go to book for other times of the year. That said, we're always more than happy to share prices with anyone who asks, and maybe we'll start including them in videos again if enough people ask for them. For this resort, we paid $607 total for 3 nights, so about $202/night for the room ($101/night per person).
It was the second week of October and it was an exceptional experience. I traveled alone and everything was remarkable, only positive feedback for Ocean Blue. The only aspect that I found less favorable was their attempt to market a membership for their other hotels. I did not appreciate this sales pitch.

Reminds me of Ocean Riviera Paradise in Riviera Maya. My cousin and I enjoyed our stay, but we prefer adults only resorts.
