Janice, you had me at hello (so to speak) with my favorite Lagoon, but with this video you have also made me a believer in Flamingo. I also particularly appreciated the “coloring” technique by stamping color first and then a black outline over it. Your work is always appreciated, creative, high- quality pieces delivered with a can do “accidents happen (but can work with them)” attitude, but again with this video, I’m now a fan of Flamingo.

Wow! I have the paper pack. This album is just the absolute best! I love the colours, stencils, stamps, die cuts - everything about it! I can see photos of my daughter in this! Gorgeous papers. I love the techniques you showed at the end. I think I have to have this one!

It is so good to see what things will look like when done & now I am thinking past just getting the paper packs!! I am also thinking that the 6 X 8 album design might transfer over to the 8X 11 album successfully.
I'm so glad you enjoyed the video Louise - thank you for your kind words. I think these layouts will transfer to an 8x11 album quite well - and also to a 12x12 format as well. The possibilities of album size are endless as the pattern papers are kept at larger sizes rather than cut into small elements.
It's one of my all time favourite collections. Unfortunately it has all sold out as it was a National Scrapbooking Month special and it was a huge hit. The colours and patterns were beautiful.
I am so in love with this album workshop, but I cannot figure out what pictures to use it for. The soft pastel colours make it hard for photos not to clash. Any suggestions?
It's such a gorgeous project to work on. I think some of the patterns are quite bright and fun - so with photos I would put an 1/8" white mat to separate the photo from the black mat and make the photos pop more from the pattern paper. I think birthday photos would work really well. I'm going to gift one of these to my parents with photos of the years of them with their grandchildren. The photos will be quite varied with outdoor, beach, garden, picnic, Christmas, birthday and a whole variety - but the small white mat will make everything work I think.
