A familiar dish, shawarma. We also sometimes make it in Russia and jokingly call it "Grilled Chicken Thighs on a Nail" in the grill. Actually, I keep the temperature in the grill no higher than 160 degrees Celsius; I think then the chicken will be slightly juicier, but it doesn't matter. Thank you for the excellent recipe. So how much EVOO do you drink?😂 Doesn't matter, you toss a great salad! I've done a similar spice blend WITH yogurt in the marinade, and it's great, especially with the dark meat. I really need to pick up a trompo king this spring. I'm thinking that you should put a little water or even chicken stock in the basin of the trompo. Drippings will make a great sauce, and the convection will still brown the protein. I love all middle eastern food, and this looks excellent Captain!
I got to mention this. In 2022 at the eggtoberfest at Coolray firld in GA, i went up to your booth to meet you and sample your food, and you were rude and condescending when i mentioned my pleasure to meet you and being a fan of your channel.

I first met Ron at the 2023 Eggtoberfest and my experience was totally opposite @robcadams1974 Ron went out of his way to say hello and we even snapped a picture together and then again later with him and @darksideofthegrill and yes Ron did say "Oh, you're the one that watches my videos. If Ron is apologizing, accept it, maybe it was only a misunderstanding.
