    Sad to see that they removed the red leather on the dash and door inserts. Made it look muuuch better than this.
    I hope my 2022 aussie order keeps them!!

      The red leather on the dash and doors is on the Premium models, one step above the Carbon Edition.

    2022 Honda Civic vs Mazda 3
    Which is best to choose

      Both are super respectable, my choice would be the mazda 3, what an amazing car.

      Mazda 3 is more of a driver's car while the Civic is more of a small family car. Mazda has the bigger engine, small more personal cabin, slightly better trim and detail, more luxury feeling and a better drive with AWD. Civic has more space, better fuel economy, some unique features like wireless apple car play and touch screen media system as well as a more fresh design that suits most people.
      Both good cars but my pick is Mazda.

      Mazda 3 Turbo, they strapped in the engine from the CX-9 - very torquey and very fun to drive!

      Mazda 3 as the Civic is the #1 stolen car in the US….

      @@burns0100 I just test drove both within a 1 day spread. The Civic sport hatchback has more room so if that is important you will need to compare against a Subaru Impreza. Otherwise the Mazda feels like a quality couch in comparison. It feels softer physically and mechanically, there mission to make a smooth daily was executed even down to the unnoticed details. It's not trying, it just does. While the civic was smooth on road and has great seats it did not handle larger bumps as well and under acceleration the engine note echos in the car in a bad way. Hard plastic on the top of the door panel was a shame. Cheaper is the best way I can put it. Mazda did a great job at executing a cushy daily driver. The Honda felt a bit less refined and more functional, an A to B mini hauler with a mediocre power train and CVT transmission that drones. Everyone wants more space and that's why Mazda compacts are underrated, it's a shame because after driving it I realized all the praise is really true! I may actually lease one soon, coming from a Toyota Tacoma and Subaru family!

    It seems to have less road noise than a Corolla Cross, is that right?

    What % tint is this?

    • @BergeMazda
      @BergeMazda  ปีที่แล้ว

      Here in AZ 33% is legal for the side fronts and any darkness for the back side and rear😊 Unfortunately this vehicle sold a while ago so I don't remember the exact but if I had to guess probably 15% to 20% in the rear.

  • @burns0100
    @burns0100 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Besides the better engine I don't think you get a drastically better car as you upgrade the models. Larger rims provide a worse ride to the car and some of the trim options just look ugly with the paint colours.
    For me the Base model is ideal, just wish it came with the 2.5L engine.
    Though unsure how this 2022 model is but here in Australia for 2022, Mazda updated the base model to include leather steering wheel and shifter as well as removing one paint option and bring out a new paint option. So the 2022 base model is great value now.
