I moved to BK 25 years ago and it's pretty much what I was use to, parties at the park. Soul summit takes me back to the old NY clubs. The world , The Tunnel, Mars, RedZone, Save the Robots. Awesome doc! As a Cali kid-who had a very brief time living in Bk I didn't attend this but saw this vibe in other places (BAM, Dance Africa, Afro punk) loved the culture, vibe, and history of BK and its people.
We attended the gentrified, corporate-sponsored “Soul Summit” in Prospect Park in summer of 2021. Someone stole the soul. Bring back Soul Summit in Fort Greene Park!!

My friend would play it on his bluetooth and the hipsters would be lookin. These hipsters don't wanna hear that and too bad. This is nyc and ur gonna hear this type of music.
