Bengaluru needs one such high-class buffet restaurant like Royal Indianaa for vegetarians - unfortunately most of the buffet restaurants here are all of the same pattern - grills etc. Request Venkatesh Bhat Sir to reopen his creations in Bengaluru with the same love he has given to Chennai
I will visit Bengaluru, IF Venky Bhat opens a full fledged Vegetarian restaurant that would fulfill the tasty desires of a South Indian. - Love from USA
@@jranga Thanks for your recommendations, as a Bengalurian - both the restaurants I have tried and may not match what the restaurant from Venkatesh Bhat used to operate in the city earlier...
Thanks Kripal, for introducing us to this pioneer. His channel is the need of the hour for me. Its stupendous how passionately the chef speaks about the South Indian Cuisine, about his culinary journey, so much so, that Kripal's disposition got eclipsed by the Chef Venkatesh Bhat, in this episode. 😅
This Episode is amalgamation of Stalwarts from the culinary landscape, Kripal Sir & Venkatesh Bhat. Its Very hard for one to grab attention away from Kripal Sir when he is around but have to say Venkatesh Bhat made it happen. The Show was just 🔥🔥
Have been following Venkatesh Bhatt since he started appearing in TH-cam. Great lover of his recipes and trying most of his recipes even at my age of 90. Learnt a lot of simple ideas to make the food more tasty with simplified methods. Great chef, and I am proud to be his fan.
Here in San Diego, USA I tune to Chef Venkatesh Bhat on weekends. My Kitchen TV is right next to my cooking range. His Masala Dosai and Masala recipe is like Deva Amrutham! Need I say more. 👏🙏
Two legends meeting , what more one had to ask … kripal Aman sir is my favourite and Venkatesh sir my wife’s favourite … ofcourse we both adore both the legends work ….awaiting part 2 eagerly … இது மனிதர் உணர்த்து கொள்ள மனித காதல் அல்ல 😂😂😂 அதையும் தாண்டி 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thank you Kripal sir for making this episode. It’s really a pleasure watching. As Bhatt said, when two people with same passion meets. It’s wonderful to see!
We'd love to see you host Chef Bhat in Blore. He's an extremely open minded personality who's not run out of recipes for 15 years; and explains the stories and context behind the food with such passion. A Chef and a storyteller par excellence! An explorer of our vast South Indian traditions and styles!

Good afternoon dear Kripal - Just returned home after a scrumptious weekend family lunch 👍 Now straight diving into the vlog that I was quite eager to watch . Wow you are going to dine at the Royal Indiana with your friend Chef Venkatesh Bhat 👍👍 Great memory by Chef to clearly mention that he last met you 17 years ago 👍As one of your subscribers correctly mentioned two story-tellers coming together and hence it might be a 2 part vlog . That’s been on spot 😀😀 Agree in the Marghazhi month - It is considered auspicious and is associated with various cultural and religious events in Tamil Nadu. Chef Venkatesh’s punctuality and commitment is commendable 👍 I am yet to watch any of his YT vlogs . Let me check one of these days . Seems to be an interesting concept to spread culinary knowledge and awareness. For a change you are relatively silent today 😅 The ambience of the restaurant is cool 👌. Never heard of this welcome drink Wasantani ( looks to be a simple recipe ) . Oh it’s a complete vegetarian restaurant. Great his entire family has a hoteliers background. Phew what a fabulous buffet spread including Chef Venkatesh’s specialties 👌👌 Different types of Rice dishes 😋 It’s great to get into research coz that’s quintessential for improvising the dishes that has to be offered 💯💯💯 Good observation and comment by Chef Venkatesh on the common passion and value that he shares with you . Back to the table to continue with the conversation with CV 👍 The first dish - Vazhai Thandu Paruppu Saaru🍲. Like their core value “Serve from the Heart” . Dissection of the ingredients of the Soup by two legends 💯💯💯Good story on how HSB paved its way to an arena once dominated by the Udipi chain of restaurants 👌 Good of CV to talk about the vlog with the late Puneet Kumar ( 🥲) Next items Kuzhi-Paniyaram , Vella-Paniyaram & Poondu Dosa 😋 Poo-vazhai-pottu making its way into the plate 👍👍 Glad that you relished it thoroughly 👌 Next to the Poondu Dosa ( it’s one of my favourite) . I can have it on as-is basis 😋 Oh I just saw the Paneer Soda 👍 The spiced baby potato looks super yummy 😋 Need to try this dish 👌 Thoroughly enjoyed every single minute of your conversation with Chef Venkatesh . Kudos to him for his passion , commitment , honesty and integrity 💯💯💯 What a fab combo you both make and it’s a treat to your viewers. May your friendship continue to forge and grow stronger with the passage of time . Too good chief . You could have got Boss to Chennai . Anyways I am overwhelmed by this vlog and cherished watching it . Super eager to watch the Part 2 of the vlog . You take care , stay safe , have a wonderful day ahead and God bless 😇 Loads of love & respect 🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️💯💯💯
Hi Rajesh, glad you enjoyed this episode. Chef venkatesh Bhat is a legend, and I feel rather privileged to call him a friend from two decades ago. The interesting conversation with Chef aside, the food at Royal Indianaa too, as you have rightly surmised, is the sort that impresses. I would recommend it as a must visit for vegetarians who would like to taste some great dishes and in an environment that's top class. The second episode has plenty more of the food, and I hope you enjoy the watch too. Happy Sunday. Cheers!
