If you're a musician wanting to build your own soundproof garage studio or just want to see what we do - check out the second part of our latest home studio build in Reading.
We have been building studios for the last 13 years for some of the Uk’s top musicians completing around 16 projects per year. We are musicians ourselves so we understand the necessary components needed to create successful soundproof rooms. We are also passionate about what we do but don't take ourselves too seriously!!
We will be going through each stage of the build step by step over the coming weeks so don’t forget to hit the like button and to subscribe.

Hello fellas. Thanks again for the content. Do you use a vapour barrier behind the plasterboard? I’m putting plasterboard up tomorrow and can’t decide if it’s needed! Thanks again!
We don't use it at the plasterboard stage. Only if there is evidence of damp in the garage we would use it before the walls go in 👍🏻
Really enjoying this series. Can’t wait to see the end result. Cheers from Sydney Australia.
Thanks for watching 👍🏻
oh yay.!! been waiting for the next episode on this one, amazing job guys!
Thanks for watching! 🙏🏻
Looks really good and love these videos. Would you be able to give a rough price for a the garage conversion please? Just to see if it's something I could stretch to at some point. Thanks
Thanks for the message! If you give us a contact through our website (link in the description) I will get back to you!
Cheers 👍🏻
Do you always do 2 layers for the ceiling? Or is 3 sometimes needed?
We always have done 2 on the ceiling even when we used to do 3 on the walls! You can get away with slightly less soundproofing in the ceiling!! 👍🏻
