I’ve seen on other YT channels, that you get better absorption from the acoustic panels if they stand off the walls/ceiling by the thickness of the panel. Have you tried this yourself?

expanding foam is not great, use backing rod, its water proof and moves with the building

Everytime I see a foundation being poured in the UK I'm wondering, doesn't that need rebar or fiber reinforcement for cracking? What about depth and frostline or isn't that a thing in the UK?
