Southern Fan Company Tara Ceiling Fan

Today I have a brown and brass Southern Fan Company Tara ceiling fan. As these fans were originally made in Texas, they are rather uncommon along the entire east coast of the United States. The fan uses a cardboard box variable speed system and GE stack motor. Performance is on par with most other variable speed stack motor fans from the early 1980s.

I have one of these in this exact finish and blade combo with the same motor
Also an interesting fact those blade irons are knock offs of Diehl blade irons and I actually have a Diehl with those same irons

I live two hours awy from Tyler, i haven't seen any of these on facebook marketplace or any vintage fans, usually just see newer ones that aren't even that old.
