Man I miss this cartoon! I truly wish that someday Warner Brothers will put it on HBO/Max. By the way I don’t call it Max often myself since that is also my own name. Also yes Johnny and Velma counts too. There’s even fan art of them together on Deviant art and I’m a fan of this pairing myself. I also connect more to this pair than the Heather one. I can certainly see why that one is the most popular pair but I relate more to the Velma pairing because I really like both characters so much and they each have a place in my heart and I think they look cute together. So it’s definitely a fantastic pair in my opinion. Weirdly enough though the only other popular pairing that I’ve seen online is very inappropriate- which is Johnny and Little Susie (just older) uh no thank you! Not my thing! Great job on your analysis of this topic. It’s nice to see more people give Johnny Bravo respect in this insane world that seems to have mostly forgotten about this cartoon.
I dunno I didn't think it counted because The Bride never once in the episode liked Johnny and spent most of it fighting/running from it because the Doctor was going to set them up together. By my own rules it couldn't count.
I'd hardly say they predicted Avatar 2, James Cameron had been pushing for the trilogy to get made for like... a decade before the first one came out, it's practically impossible that people in Hollywood wouldn't at least have access to the elevator pitch version of the movies.
Interestingly enough, Sandy was the reason why Johnny had a type that worked for him the most. Redheads. Meeting Heather, oh boy, I'm pretty sure that rekindled his old feelings which let Johnny be himself. Cuz what other girl left an impact to where Johnny felt depressed other than those two?
I just realized Johnny Bravo's depiction is the exact opposite of Boomhauer's from King of the Hill. They both try to pick up woman in the same way but a huge majority of the time Johnny fails while Boomhauer succeeds. However, they both basically lead to the same weird contradictory lesson where it's not so much how you act that makes you more desirable towards woman but how many woman are you willing to be rejected by until you find one that accepts you no matter how you act.
Interestingly enough this is how things work in real life: If you just run the numbers and talk to enough girls you will actually get lucky provided you aren't too picky. Further more in you dropped Johnny Bravo off in real world 2024 he would actually do very well with the ladies given how little rizz a lot of fellas have these days.
Woooooo! Man idk if you've done it yet, but get ready to feel like a part of your actual life has ended lol. Love the Mass Effect series! Looking forward for ME4!

Jonny Bravo is one of those characters theyll never bring back in his true form because of..."modern audiences"
Something cool about Johnny that was unique for the time is that he liked any kind of woman no matter what race. That was unusual for the 90s and early 2000s still. He would approach white, black, asian, etc. even furries. It's crazy how anything female that was considered pretty he would go for. I didn't see that in movies as much or tv shows at the time like in Johnny Bravo.
Yeah Johnny X Velma will always be one of the great stealth ships of cartoons network. Of the kids born between 89 to 2000 , this will always be a shipping we keep alive in our hearts
Well...he's not her type...he's not a villain...or person who can play a villain.
Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
Johnny also came pretty close to getting the girl in Date With A Gazelle. Strange how furbait women generally tolerate him more than human ones.
I think it's because Johnny mostly isn't judgmental when it comes to women
Jeff Bennett is an underrated genius of an actor. And the fact he doesn't his flowers for his comedic genius in every cartoon he's in, is a damn shame. Johnny wouldn't be nearly as funny if it was anyone but him playing the guy. Wish the show got more love.
Oh 100% Jeff Bennet has so much range and his Johnny performance is so legendary and can make anything funny. Like he is one of the most underrated voice actors and I wish I had room to talk about the shows voice cast because they're all so good with their deliveries.
Now he may hate her tastd in women, but he adores his momma, who just so happens to be a red head. That's could be a driving factor.
I loved this show as a kid. My Grandmother would always call Johnny handsome.
Nice to know people are still thinking about this show 😊
I super ship velma and johnny that's so funny and cool. They are super cute. Johnny clearly treats her right and can be very caring and committed. I love how he first into a red head in Daphne, very on brand. I think johnny just love red heads. I love the joke of johnny saying i can't be seen without my classes 😂😎
Imagine if Jonny joined mystery incoperated and simply kicked the monsters is the spleen.
Noticed a severe lack of Farrah Fawcett from Season 1.
Johnny Bravo and Boomhauer would have such a great conversation i think
Now I want Johnny in Multiverses just to see what his qoutes with Velma would be like.
Sad his birthday on Valentine's Day like it takes away from your birthday completely. Plus you know johnny never got a date on Valentine's Day.
But he literally did, it's in the video as his most famous date.
Isn't the whole thing about the Jonny Bravo series that we are to make fun off his "directnes" and how women usually reject men with only the "endgoal" on their mind.
...Johnny bravo predicted the people who use bots to buy products and resell them for insane prices online...
also on the johnny x velma shipping, in one promo, Johnny actually proposed and asked velma to marry him! and she really wanted to say yes, but denied cause saying her career (as a ghost hunter) came first (that an they were from two different shows too ofcourse)
Reason 3: Velma doesn't go for good boys. She's into villains or people who can play villains....and Johnny is neither.
7:18 doctor: you will feel a little poke
The needle:
Thank you for making such a fun to watch nostalgic vid. I honestly didnt think he had this many wins as a character
Wow, now you got a deep pit of nostalgia, Shady! Also, I like the detail of the glasses on the avatar.
If I remember correctly the lore is that Johnny started off with a girlfriend before getting buff because he thought that she deserves better
I remember your Clown Girl incident Johny
That was a YTP, not an official clip.
There was a missed win, where Johnny was invited to Sussie's birthday party, but Johnny turned it down, but when he found out Sussie has a maturely hot cousin, he tries to sneak in.
Farrah Fawcett
Aside from what's shown, there's at least one more girl Johnny got with, since he's conically not a virgin.
I'd love to see Heather come back in a revival.
You right Johnny was very underrated he was that dude now he couldn't get away with this stuff now seeing how everyone is so sensitive now but I'll still watch him when I can
His types is red heads definitely lol
Heather describe the plot TV show of aliens that starred Jennifer Gardner in the early 2000s
I think the joke with the Bollywood movie is that the plot of most Bollywood movies is zany and over the top to the point where the plot is just an afterthought. Just look at the CGI antics they pull.
21:51 Bruh, they legit foreshadow Avatar 2
Hey man what about Frankenbravo? Even if the marriage was miserable, theoretically speaking, Johnny DID end in a committed relationship
I dunno I didn't think it counted because The Bride never once in the episode liked Johnny and spent most of it fighting/running from it because the Doctor was going to set them up together. By my own rules it couldn't count.
They should’ve brought one of them back for the finale just so Johnny could have a good ending
great video
I think first hint Johnny might've been into Velma is the way he says her name in Booboo Baabaa DeeDee, if I remember the tone correctly.
I'd hardly say they predicted Avatar 2, James Cameron had been pushing for the trilogy to get made for like... a decade before the first one came out, it's practically impossible that people in Hollywood wouldn't at least have access to the elevator pitch version of the movies.
I thinking we are missing the point Johny Is shallow because he is afraid, he is afraid of getting hurt.
Johny scores 15% of the time. Which is how it works in real life.
the werevolf counts, meme ending can be easily edited out
Except that in real life, the other 85% don't beat you up. :D
7:58 any association with Forrest Gump
Dang Joney REALLY liked red heads 😂
Something else about Johnny, that unless I forgot something, Johnny seems to respect when women say no.
Real life Johnny would have thousands of wm after him
we've been waiting decades for this
That Indian girl
He really has a type.
If Johnny Bravo struck it with ms bellum 👍
12:50
That CalebxCity reference is actually hilarious 😂
It’s like this, the more Johnny is into the girl the more he fumbles it 😂
I just realized Johnny Bravo's depiction is the exact opposite of Boomhauer's from King of the Hill.
Johnny bravo is actually duke nukem
I never got why ppl disliked Johnny, it’s not like he doesn’t just stop when he gets dumped 90% of the time
Interestingly enough this is how things work in real life: If you just run the numbers and talk to enough girls you will actually get lucky provided you aren't too picky. Further more in you dropped Johnny Bravo off in real world 2024 he would actually do very well with the ladies given how little rizz a lot of fellas have these days.
I'm weirded out he was hoping to find a dominant mistress just to prove his mother right
I'm honestly more impressed Johnny actually had the wits to defeat a Bond-ish villain, than I am about any chicks he pulled.
Velma. The real Velma will always deserve an honorable mention. 🧐👍
Woooooo! Man idk if you've done it yet, but get ready to feel like a part of your actual life has ended lol. Love the Mass Effect series! Looking forward for ME4!
Does Johnny have a thing for redheads or is it just me?
Not in particular but out of the girls he actually got a least a try for a kiss he got a ton of redheads
Other way around. Johnny likes all babes. But gingers like Johnny. XD
Velma + Johnny = kids with average intelligence
19:10 this win is likely more of a friend zone situation
That ending was so fun man 😂
Johnny bravo is one of my favorites like wild kratts , bubble guppies, jelly jamm , krypto the super dog , paw patrol and pinky dinky doo
I remember loving the glasses joke with Velma, how he changed the sentence to being that he couldn't be seen without his glasses. XD
Weird Idea but he was himself he was never not Johnny the day a woman loves him she's set for life
Johnny and Heather 😢
Johnny Bravo predicted scalpers lol.
Due to the amount of Rule 34 on Velma, Johnny won a good catch. I sure hope there'd be a movie about them. But alas, Cartoon Network ended.
1:32 Rick and Morty ripped off this episode 2 with Get schwifty.
He almost got the tree girl.
