Hi! I am happy you found it informative! You can make as many meals you want but if you want to cook several dishes I suggest you get additional pot liner (inner pot) so you can remove one dish out of the cooker and allow it to settle before moving it into a different container. I hope this makes sense. You could just remove the pot insert from the cooker and out in the new one and start the new dish right away without having to empty and wash the first one. Also, you could for example toss entire chicken in the pot and use 1/2 for tacos today and other half for a chicken sandwiches tomorrow. You can cook the whole chicken from FROZEN so that’s a time saver right there. I suggest signing up to one if the Instant Pot groups to get ideas of what kind of recipes. I use mine all the time and practically don’t use the stove top anymore. I have to say that I occasionally have an issue with the valve not creating adequate pressure. If you don’t have pressure cook experience this is AWESOME because of all the recipes and guided cooking. I mean I made a best goulash ever with this pot and I’ve been making goulash for years! On the other hand, as owner of Instant Pot I find my IP more reliable and durable in the long run. Hope this helps!

Doesn't appear you can! That's kind of a deal breaker for me on top of hearing how it lasts only about 6 months if you are lucky! :(

They should allow you to customize or at least modify the recipe to fit your own taste and flavors! :/

FIrst of all: Never, ever, ever, ever, ever...place an electric pressure cooker on your stove top. NEVER. You said the ceramic coated inner pot is made of stainless steel, however when you tapped it with your fingernails it sounds like it's aluminum and not SS. Lastly, when the cooking stopped with some sort of error message, that confirmed for me that this is not for me. It simply reminded me of when my cell phone or iPad locks up. I appreciate your review but I"ll stick to IP.

Hi there, thank you for your comment!
You are right and double right again. I stand corrected, the liner is indeed made out of aluminum and not SS, thank you for pointing that out to me. As for the using cooker on the stove, it's highly recommended not to due to many hazards but my kitchen is tiny and stove-top is only place I have available. I burnt bottom of my air-fryer accidentally turning on the hot plate knob 😒
I personally like the small conveniences that come with the Chef iQ such as built in scale or ability to release the pressure without having to deal with the steam vent. I also love that it has option for pulse steam release and I don't have to be the one doing it. I am always a little nervous with the pulse or regular manual release. No more forgetting to release the steam either. Built-in recipes and guided cooking are pretty cool but I ended up tweaking most of their recipes to my liking.
I really think, for those who already know their way with the pressure cooker, this smart cooker can only deliver a small conveniences but for the beginners or those intimidated by Instant Pot, I think this is a great start into pressure cooking. Also, app does not have to be used at all, everything can be done manually as well.
      Cheers

@@mirelasreviews this is by far my favorite cooker. I love it for the same reasons you spoke of. The scale, the auto release And the video recipes.
