The largest pressure cookers I have tried are 8qt, I don't personally know any 10 qt ones.

Can you scroll through making your selections on an i phone instead of the physical dial on the appliance? I’m a blind user and the app works with voic over for the smart iq meat thermometer. I’d love to control this appliance with my phone so I can cook independently. Will that work? Thanks!

Hi Cindy! 😃 That is a really good question. In the CHEF IQ app you can plan a cook. It will guide you through the selections of the program, the subcategories, the type, the freshness, the cooking method and the amount (for example: poultry, chicken, breast, bone-in, fresh, pressure cook, 2 pounds) and it will give you a suggestion of the time and pressure level. The only thing you would have to do in the actual appliance, and this is for security reasons, is click the start button. I recommend you download the app before buying the Smart cooker. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions 😉.

Great video...very informative and I enjoyed the sample cooking, but PLEASE lose that constant music! Sounds like we're at the circus!

Hello Jackie! Thanks for your comment. You can program it on your phone, but for security reasons you have to click the start button directly on the ChefiQ Smart Cooker. For this case I recommend you prepare your Smartcooker before leaving for work (add the ingredients and program it for a delay start for example 6 hours) This way it will start cooking after 6 hours and you can monitor the progress on your phone. 😉 Ciao! Sofi

What you can do in order to know when to stop adding water/liquid while using the built in scale is...... rotate the pressure cooker to have the screen facing you!

Of course! 😆 The problem is when 🎥 filming Sofi’s Tips, since you have to be able to see the screen 😉

In Mexico it belongs to the Chefman brand but I don't know why it is much worse.

CHEF iQ and Chefman are sister brands (same company) why do you consider it to be worse in Mexico?

You can't transfer recipes from the app's-favorites to the cooker favorites or create your own recipes using cooker in manual mode and save it to the cooker's favorites. Good Idea terrible implementation!
