Lovely what is the distance between each slice and did you use pine?
He's obviously just got to keep lining up each cut line he makes with a mark he's made as a guide. He's not just eyeballing that all the way down.
@@kidpiper9642 i could be wrong, but pretty sure you don't do woodworking. Marking ahead of time, that much, with that many cuts with accuracy needed over a long distance, RARELY if ever, works. A little bit off adds up and by the end you're WAY off. Many woodworkers don't measure everything out in advance as much as you would think... Maybe you do woodworking, but that just doesn't seem plausible. I'm guessing some sort of jig or spacers to move it down the exact amount before another cut.
@@mike41062 I think kidpiper means lining up the previously made cut with a mark on the saw, like a eyeball jig, rather than marking each cut ahead of time.

Most of the projects use the pallet simply as a source of reclaimed wood not as a recognizable pallet so even if you didn't have a pallet you could make these projects with any reclaimed (or even new) wood. The instructions are excellent. The style is charming and would work with lots of different decor. There are quite a number of projects that involve tiling of teh wood pieces which is a really cool idea and can produce beautiful pieces when working with aged wood.
This has potential. Good craftsmanship for sure. But no matter where you are in the room you have a light bulb shining in your eyes.

Exactly what I thought, maybe if the slits were somehow at an angle it would work better ?
@@frozenwindow407 a slight angle would help, setting the miter at an angle for both boards would easily achieve this. The angle doesn't need to be very strong, just enough that the centerline of the slats exceeds the diameter of the bulb by a small amount.
Or just use a pearl bulb

That wasn't that dangerous... Personally i would have taken off the corners quickly and turned the rest on a lathe. Speaking as someone who works with friction material for machines

@@transprodukt качественные LED сильно не греются, просто у вас в россии те что дешевее, с плохим драйвером , эти греются больше , но не думаю что они могут устроить пожар.
