My version of chicken adobo recipe. It is simple to make & famous. The perfect adobo lies in delicate balance of soy sauce, vinegar, bay leaves & peppercorns.Hope you try this recipe at home.
Please like, share to friends & family & subscribe.❤
    Thanks for watching!
    Ingredients:
    1 whole chopped chicken
    6 cloves garlic
    1 large onion
    2 bay leaves
    peppercorns
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp ground pepper
    1/4 cup vinegar
    1/4 cup soy sauce
    1/2-3/4 cups water
    1 Tbsp brown sugar
    1 Tbsp cornstarch
    INSTRUCTIONS:
Place a medium pan on a med-high heat & add the oil, once the oil is hot, saute the chopped onion until translucent then add the garlic.
Then add the chicken. Season with salt & pepper. Stir fry for about 2-3 minutes until the chicken changed color.
Add the soy sauce, peppercorns & vinegar. Let it simmer for about 4-5 minutes on high heat. Then add the brown sugar.
    Stir occasionally.
Next, add 1/2-3/4 cup of water. Let is simmer for another 3-4 minutes on high heat.
Pour the cornstarch mixture to slightly thicken the sauce. If the sauce is too thick you can add a little bit of water.
Simmer for another couple minutes with no lead on until half of the sauce evaporates.
    Then serve warm & enjoy!
Please watch the video for demonstration. Thanks for watching!!🥰❤️...

Wow 1st time making this and soooo delicious. I didn’t add the sugar but I did add more soy sauce, water, white vinager because I couldn’t find the cane vinegar and I wanted to make it more saucy. I also added more cornstarch and chicken bouillon. Loved it!!! My whole family said it taste sooo good! Thanks

Similar to mine but I don’t add sugar, salt or starch also I use apple cider vinagar- u just add more vinegar or more soy to adjust the flavor the juice from the meat and bone adds to the flavor this is why u simmer it longer until it falls off the bone just add more water to simmer longer

Thanks for this recipe. Been looking for an adobo recipe that doesn’t have to require overnight marinading and I came across this. Made a little changes tho, I opted for a slow stew on low heat for at least 30 minutes instead of high and used apple cider vinegar coz I only have distilled vinegar on my pantry. I also added 1 knorr chicken buollion cube for seasoning. Turned out great as well 👌
