1. Please do not use a expired film, there will be leakage of photo developer (liquid) if the film is expired or freezed in refrigerator, it will case the roller dirty and it maybe ejecting.
2. This would usually be due to low battery power as the majority of power would go into ejecting the film. So, whilst there may have been enough power to capture the image, the camera halted whilst pushing the film through the unit. Replace the batteries with the lens in the open position.

I bought mine from him, it's a super cool back, and the funnest I've had with my RB76.
Then I unfortunately dropped the camera with the back on, and it landed on the back, breaking the back a bit, and my soul a bit.
I'd still buy another, not gon lie. Dropping it was my bad.
