The one liners in this video took me OUT. “You’re not fooling me, I don’t know what I’m talking about” is my new mantra 😂😂😂
WORDS TO LIVE BY
"You can't fool me I don't know what I'm talking about" is my new go to motto, thank you.
I’ve been using this for about a month with my 500 CM. I use a PME 3 prism viewfinder/meter and it clears the NONS back just fine. Great video.
My number one wish from Fuji would be an ultrawide Instax Square, something that would have a field of view the same as the 38mm of the Hasselblad SWC. While I know that you can use the Nons adapter, maybe others, but that still leaves the obvious problem-you have to have a Hasselblad. But I just think an ultrawide Instax, similar build to the standard Mini and SQ models, would be a lot of fun and a big hit.
One of my favorite things about the NONS Instax Back is how easy it is to take a double exposure on the Hassy!
Really want to give this a try on my Kiev 88. Those pentacon six lenses would be wonderful for instant film!
Different mount, i know. Printed and designed own instax back few years ago
Someone on Reddit has done this and it looks incredible!
Nice video. I have been enjoying the NONS back paired with my 503CX for the past couple of months. I take it with me every time I take out my Hassy now. I find that underexposing by a half stop helps retain the highlights for a perfect exposure.
I have a Mamiya RB67 and the Binstax is increcible. It keeps the battery-free operation of the Mamiya, so you *Never* need to worry about power, it is a 6x7 camera both vertically and horizontally, so there are no borders whatsoever, and as far as I can tell, It is not prone to light leaks. I wish the Mamiya RB67 had a better lens lineup, but even shooting at F/3.5, the shots are amazing.
I have been wanting and waiting
Your production and message. Love it. Subscribed.
Thank you for bopping that subscribe button!
Ooh nice! I’ve been shooting with the HassyPB. It’s great bc it spits the film out in the proper orientation (with white side down) but it does have the focusing compensation issue
Happily enjoying the Nons back on my 2000FCW. The 50mm f/2.8 is very fun.
Just need one of these for the Bronica SQ system!
I am so soooo tempted. I have so many Instax cameras and want a proper lens for any of them. The Graflok back for my 4x5 is nice, but too cumbersome to be honest for shooting it a lot. And this maybe makes more sense with the square format... as I love Instax wide the most and wish they would make a wide slr... that would be the best option, but maybe I will go with this for now. thank you for the video.
I have been using my 500CM with the PM prism with no problem at all. My setup since 1990.
damn bennybags the transparent polaroid cams in the back are making me drool 😳
I love it that every Nons Back i have seen has that little scratch that you get when you try to advance the film with the darkslide still in place. Heck, mine has it as well...
Mine too. .
Might need to get a Hassy.
I doubt that the black border is caused by the image circle of Hasselblad lenses not being large enough. For one thing, many of them are able to cover IMAX which is almost 70mm in width. And for another, if it was a limitation of the lenses not being able to cover these image size, it would show as a circle not as a rectangular border.
I didn’t mean the lenses, those I imagine have much larger circles as you said. I essentially meant the rear “gate” of the camera is limited in size as is it was not intended for this back or format.
@@InAnInstant Ahh.
woohoo!
Great, now I have to go out and get myself a Hassey… THANKS BEN! 😭
Sorry about that! 🥹
I want this baby for my 503CW just for fun. I am thinking the 50mm would be the Lens best suited for it.
I GOTTA GET ONE
It needs you
Also, great informercial "before" face. (Should've been b&w, though.)
As much as I'd love to have this for my Hassy, I know the orientation of the print would bug me too much.
Hey I get it, side pod culture is still struggling to reach mainstream audiences.
Does this only work with a waist level finder?
ben do you want a minolta 110 zoom?
Anyone in the comments know of a bronica SQ equivalent? I'd love something similar to this
Guys! He said "aplomb." What the Jerry!

I've been going back and forth about if I want to purchase this thing. unfortunately with Hasselblad that is the only best option existing!
What do you think now based on the results?
#petemaddenjr tee tho.
The pinnacle of fashion
Is just me or any instax camera make photos clear like this back?
Looking clear and being shaped by aperture, shutter speed, and proper optics are a diff story!
Je partage avec vous l'instantané avec h a s s e l b l a d , le rendu d la photo est meilleur, avec une certaine qualité, et netteté et une finesse dans les couleurs.Pour certaines photos on dirait de la peinture .
there are plenty of similar backs for the hassie . this isn’t the only one.. its poorly researched.. the one from the hasselblad expert youtube channel is probably the best of the bunch!! something that isn’t mentioned
I recommend rewatching the video if this was your takeaway 😂 very poorly researched comment ☠️
Aw the way you say Nons means something very different here 💀
Oh it’s a known problem 😂🤘
I think it is weird that you don't mention that you can't wind the camera with the dark slide in, as the darkslide is on the right instead of the left like a normal back. I know you know this because you have a long dent in your darkslide just like I do on mine. It isn't really hugely important, just a note. I love my nons back, and given the image is a square, I usually frame up, focus, then rotate 90 degrees so the pod is on the bottom. This back is wondeful given that youdon't need adjust the ground glass nor do you have to add a weird lens to the front to make the camera focus properly; it just works.
See y'all at Polacon this weekend 🫡
