The trolls I had in 1964 had good luck horseshoes stamped on the bottom of their feet. There were other rip off brands, but the ones with the horseshoes were the best quality. Still love them!
I bought an art deco vanity and I'm going to put the saw in it. Glueing the bottoms of the sides together and place it horizontally on an asymmetric foot made of the middle section. It then will have a more progressive, for that time, touch. It has square drawers, with neat Bakelite grips, which makes this possible. And its condition is meh, also doesn't have a mirror, so action is necessary. Not going to make a habit out of this. I just need something to put my machine age objects on. The round radio in the background at 19:10 is a desired object. You walked passed one a while ago. But it's for a different corner of the room.

OMG, I just found two of those owls. They are Jaru, I believe and the coolest pieces. California pottery. You’ll be shocked to see what they can go for:) 1970’s pieces.

However, that’s not always entirely true. Some were marked and some not. It is also far from certain that the practice of marking porcelain with the word CHINA actually ended in the 1920’s. From 1919, the word CHINA should have been replaced by the phrase "Made in China", but despite this, the single word "CHINA" occurred on pieces made well in to the 1960’s & 70’s, especially if other markets than North America are considered. This is why I usually shy away from Chinese pieces, unless I’m either buying them for the decorator/designer in mind, or I am certain of the mark. If you’re not familiar with Chinese marks/characters, keep your eyes peeled for pieces with a peach symbol - a literal peach, which dates it to the Daoguang period - 1821-50. ♥️
Are their reproductions of RS Prussia. I purchased a tea set pitcher and cups at auction in 1997 but not sure if it was old or a reproduction. Is there anyway to tell. I also have one that looks like a sugar bowl but has no lid, has handles and it beautiful, it was my mothers and she had it since I was a child. I am now 75.

Are these antique booths usually run as a coop type situation. By that I mean do the sellers all have a say in how the booths are run, rules etc? Or do they just pay some rent and the owner of the building takes a cut?

Yes. They’re usually co-ops. The booth owners pay rent. And occasionally the mall takes 5-10% of the sale. The most I’ve heard of is 10%.
