What a fun shopping trip. I absolutely love the plushies you bought! They will sell easily if you decide not to keep them! So many great picks today. Thank you for the pleasure of shopping vicariously with you!
George the antique nomad had an interesting video the other day that showed folks repurposing quilt squares to make throw pillows. Kind of made me think of those plush animals in this video. Looks like fabric remnants put together to create beautiful new plush animal art! I love it! Thanks for sharing!!!!
Taking this opportunity to congratulate you on the cute little baby girl. So happy for you and your family. Love your channel and have watched for a couple years. Take care, be safe. 🥰💖👍
I agree the colourful plush is wonderful. I'm sure Laurel will appreciate the colours for now and play with later. Someone has had some fun creating them. I love the step ladder chair. The stool was good when you bought it, but I would prefer the chair myself. Again, fantastic fabric. I love the Moolin Rouge Cow Parade, I've not seen them before but I love the reference to Moulin Rouge I love that Antique store. Thanks for sharing
I had the exact same thoughts about “Where the Wild Things Are”!! & then when you found the whistle, it was MAX!! I love those plush toys… & everything else you found. 💖
I saw that too! I hope Jocelyn notices that the clay figurine is Max dressed up in a Wild Thing costume before she prices him. He might be more valuable than she realizes.
I just love your channel. You’re all by yourself and having fun with the items you look at and choose. I love your commentary. Such fun. I’m 68 and have stopped collecting (unless I find something new/old for my current collections. I’m homebound so I shop on line.
Its 10 pm..i just sat down for the first time since 530 am..have a tall coke..and an ice pack..and now I have Jocelyn to shop with! Day almost complete. Hi everyone!
Learning so much from you ! Found my first port meridian and Franciscan desert rose covered vegetable bowl while thrifting yesterday. Spent a huge $4 for both…score!!! Thanks😊
My heart nearly burst when you picked up all those plushies( I love them all- the bull especially!! ). I resell vintage and am a plush toy maker so you've captured my heart with your buys today. It means a lot to me that you appreciate handmade plushies
My husband agreed to take me to a antique store. 20 thousand square foot it was in De. From following you for awhile I was amazed to walk around and recognize some pieces. My husband was impressed thinking I am always watching junk on my tablet. There was so much Fenton in all colors and shapes. I thank you for my new found interest. I am just happy to even find things I saw with you. Thank you.
THANKS for taking me shopping with you. I love to see all the purple things that are out there. It is my favorite color and my birthstone. I have a picture from when I was about 2 and I am holding a big purple stuffed rabbit that I got from the Easter Bunny and I have always wondered if that is why I love purple so much. I hope you are able to sell the stuffed animals that you bought for good prices. Sending HUGS your way. Have a good night.
The clay mask is a likeness of Billie Holiday an African American jazz singer. The likeness is from from the 1970s movie “Lady Sings the Blues”. I instantly recognized it because I love Billie Holiday with her iconic flower in her hair and I love the movie starring Diana Ross. One sold for $50 on Etsy.
I always love to go shopping with you,Jocelyn!😁I have learned SO much from you and sometimes I see something I recognize and you don’t,and I can help and write it in the comments. But…I learned a lot more from you and I am super grateful for that. Enjoy you time with Andrew and Laurel.🙏🏻😊🥰
So glad you bought those beautiful toys. They were enchanting! Sometimes with kids toys they are just magical you just have to have them!! Enjoy the adventures!
Thanks to all your great information, I was able to notice a vase that was 100years old. It is Rockwood pottery. The cost was only $5 & the color is celadon. Great score. I was basically jumping up & down.
when you said the children were camping I just imagined all of them putting up their tent. including a little one for laurel. those plushies would look great in the kids rooms. they are awsome.
My favorites in this video are the big royal hagear wine coloured deer intertwined, and the pinky/peach blendo chip and dip set (you didn’t buy that though. Excellent finds!
Oh I love those stuffed toys too! Search for "Soft Sculpture" maybe? When selling try using the keyword "whimsical". I believe Casma is a town in Thailand, although I've never been there myself (would love to go). Those do look more artistically handmade, than mass produced stuffed plush. When I search for Casma Thailand Stuffed animal it gave me a listing for a garden of stuffed cactuses in stuffed pots all dressed up with hats and scarves LOL. One Santa, One cowboy all with googly eyes. Yep finding quite a bit of the cactus theme there...defintely a thing. Well good luck with everything you bought!
Thanks for the laugh!! I think it was the tone you used, when you were talking about the mouse with hair, kind of like what the, it has hair?!😀😆 I probably would have said the same thing.😀
You mean Laurel isn't leading an expedition through the backcountry of Pennsylvania? Lol! She's absolutely beautiful, and so very cute! I find it very soothing just to look at her. Precious! I love the unique plush toys too Jocelyn. Lisa

Same!! I consider Jocelyn my best friend! Lol
I had the same thoughts on the plush! When I saw the Lion, I immediately thought of Max and the “Where The Wild Things Are”!
Those hand made critters spoke to me too. Hats off to the crafty person who made them. The cat would have gone home with me.

You really went all out on the plushies! I am flabbergasted over them. Can't wait too see how you're going to display them, if not sell them.
The bull is Ferdinand (have you read the book)? The first critter was a bird, I believe. Those plushies were really cute!!

You have really opened my eyes to Antique "malls" I just never thought about them, I'm super small scale but at least it something to think about..
I think you should give all the monsters to the baby....and read her the book. How special that would be , plus you love them so!
Love, love, love the colorful and whimsical stuffed animals!!! I’d take them all!
The fabric characters, if mass produced would have a tag, no doubt . Those look hand made, I do prim work, but those are really fun!
That's what postpartum does to you! You buy stuffed animals & figures! 🤣 So fun!
You found some awesome pieces.
Those Haeger pieces were stunning!
