14:06 This is the top off a tree that would have set on graduated (assuming) ashtrays. I bought this off eBay 10 or 15 years ago. Mine has 4 ashtrays. I haven't been able to tell if it has any signatures. But it's very interesting, none the less.
Love the Pity Kitty art that was next to the bird outside the cage art. Potting Shed is the repro for Dedham. And the Christmas tree lighter is actually the top of several ash trays that fit together to make a larger tree. Enjoyed the shop along!
The ceramic "tree" lighter is a part of a set! It would have come with a stack of ceramic individual ash trays, and they all stacked, with the lighter at the top, to make a whole tree. Really neat set, if you can find them all together.

Hello Joycelyn and beautiful Laurel. I believe that Ceramic Tree Lighter is the top of a tree…the bottom part of the tree is either an ashtray and/or there might even be a third piece that holds cigarettes. I think George found one on one of his videos with the tree top lighter part missing .
I like watching your buying shows... but Now I like watching Laurel. You could just put the camera on her for 5 - 10 minutes at the end of each show and I would be happy . I don't get to see babies anymore. All the babies have grown up! xxx oooo Thanks, Dianne

Laurel will know the business early on. I was 39 weeks pregnant and still setting up at antique/collectibles shows. She did her first show at 7 weeks. She’d help setting up before she was 2 and knew how to pack up including wrapping some fairly fragile pieces (she could put the item on the wrapping paper, roll it a bit then fold both sides of the paper in and continue rolling). She eventually had a style of her own that did not include these kinds of pieces and now decorates her room in a very modern way! 😊

Yes, the blue vase is Fenton. I believe it is part of 'The Charleton Line' and would have been painted at the Abels, Wasserberg & Co. of NYC, in the 1940s-1950s. They bought LOTS of 'blanks' from Fenton, Cambridge, Westmoreland and other glass companies and their own artists painted them. Some pieces are quite rare and worth good money. I recently sold a very rare, Fenton Charleton Ivy Green Overlay #201 Ball Vase, on my ebay for almost $170.00. Oh and the Imperial water set is White Carnival Glass. :) I'm so glad we get to see baby Laurel in some of the videos. She is just too cute!!

When I look at her little face I see Andrew, she is so adorable. I gasped when you were showing the stitched print, I wasn't really listening as I was distracted by the cat print next to it. I had that and it's partner in my bedroom when I was around 10, so over 50 yrs ago, I was so happy to see it, then sad to think of how long ago that was lol
