The birds love the bugs down in the estuary, to bad it's not considered federal wet lands any more. Oh well just put more chemicals on it . We don't need estuary.
If they just built a bunch of bat houses and bird houses around the prison, they could attract local populations of mosquito predators. Could even be a program where prisoners could learn skills like woodworking and ecology to involve them in the improvement of the area. They could also plant the surrounding area with some native species of plants to increase the biodiversity of the area which would introduce competitors to the mosquito while improving the environment, which could have a pacifying and recuperative effect for the inmates.
When building the prison they had of known about the mosquitoes 🦟 problem .. love this idea it’s all natural
