- Video comparison on my 2021 Yamaha XSR700 between original, Kelpi Customs Shorty, and Akrapovic Stainless Carbon with and without DB Killer.
These custom exhaust systems can also be fitted to the Yamaha MT07 and FZ07. - กีฬา
Kelpi looks the best and imo sounds the best for this bike.
I installed a shorty on my xsr700, man it's cool it's barks,farts,crackles and pops, highly recommend this pipe from kelpie, no db killer

Which one did you like better? Leaning more to the kelpi
@@Anthony-lm8fx I prefer the look of the Kelpi, especially in the black as it tucks nicely in the bike. But prefer the sound of the Akrapovic, it has more personality and tonal range than the Kelpi. The Kelpi is loud at idle and acceleration, where as the Akra is quieter on idle but sings with acceleration.
Did you tune/ is it required after installing?
Tune isn’t required the O2 sensor will adjust to new exhaust. A tune will smooth out throttle response and provide a bit more power but its not something you need to do.
@@jimzenglish1 do you experience much decel popping?
@@barratheworld.4628 very little on either acceleration or decel. I think keeping the DB Killer in helps are provides a bit more back pressure.
@@jimzenglish1 Are you running the Kelpi or Akro in that case? I have the kelpi with DB Killer in I get 0 popping on acceleration but plenty on decel maybe climate related?
@@barratheworld.4628 I’m running the Akro. The Kelpi had did pop more on the decel for me also.
Both sound good but can't go past an Akrapovic :)
