Clarity in ozone is also so good on a mix!!!
Damn RX sounds way more natural great tip!
Thank you for using consistent source material to demonstrate multiple techniques. Its a proper experimental contol allowing us to accurately compare different videos to each other.
Yep! A game changer compared to other channels.
Thank you for watching , I know you're a member in the online community, nice to see you commenting here!
You’re like a scientist with this stuff. Love it. Great ears and tips man! Thank you.
Agreed. It's called audio engineering for good reason.
isolating a certain frequency range and then slightly compressing it would be about the same as using a multiband compressor and only enabling that range
you might have more control over it with your technique and could even add a little saturation there if you wanted to
I really like the song. I’ve been watching all the Sage vids lately, and I’ve been finding myself singing that song constantly.
Singer sounds like Alex Turner!
🤯🤯🤯 Amazing tips !!!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge it is very much appreciated.
Glad it was helpful!
Bunch of new techniques on this one!
Wow that rx trick I’m going to try it sound amazing and look easy
Steve I’ll be back home in bit. That’ll be a MUST! Asante. Grazie 😉 Best!
For the final example, wouldn't it be better and easier to use an upward compressor like Waves MV2? If the point is to amplify the low-level detail around the formant, then using an upward compressor seems more to the point. You would still set up everything else exactly the same. You'd just swap the compressor out for an upward compressor.
For the final tip, could you not just use a multiband compressor like proMB?
4:27 You're talking about a difference in either using the wet-gain or the output gain to do different things. What do you mean with this?
If I do a test, having 2 identical tracks, both with a Pro-C2 on them,
setting the wet-gain at +10 dB and output-gain at -10dB, compared to,
setting the wet-gain at -10 dB and output-gain at +10dB, they are exactly the same and they null out when I flip the phase of one of them.
Mr. Sage Audio, can you use different vocal examples per topic? I hope ❤🥺
thank u sage audio
Thank you for wathcing!
Possible to do the the 3rd way in skynext comprendre plugin (so having one dedicated preset) with the eq optionnaly being dynamic to add more intelligibility to the intelligibility :)
Best tip, make friends with people in the choir at your local Baptist Church…ask them to join the band.
I run the sound at my local church and your correct, you will learn technical aspects such as mic placement, gain staging, and how to prevent phasing issues. As well as vocal exercises to improve your performance… And the best part is that Jesus and others are just happy to have you there, so it’s ok if you need some training up!
Wonderful 🎉
How long have you been using this same music?
😂
Do you guys still do the Free Mastered Samples?
I love your videos please get some new tracks to work with please
No. It is better to compare tips and make a clear choice of the ones to use.
can someone pls tell me the Song name?
