Hi Rick, I figured I'd give an update on the product since I've owned 2 of these system for about 5 to 6 months and have used it in about 6 events now. Man, these things are AWESOME!!!! It saves me so much time setting up and tearing down. I just used it in an outdoor event this past weekend. One of the speakers was over 200 feet through a couple walls. I posted a video. Sorry, it's my first video attempt...so, not the best but, it gets the point across to anyone who is interested.
brilliant idea, you have just saved me a fortune! was gonna spend £300 on the alto stealth system but the wireless mic system i have bought works flawlessly !, great video man :)
I think this is a great idea. I was doing an outside parking lot gig late last year, and could have really used this for my remote and side fills... I.e. No cars and people running over cables, no tapping, no tape residue.... A+++
This thing is Awesome!!! I bought a couple sets from Rick at agiprodj. They will hook you up with the best price and support (and extra cable). I posted a review of their product on their site. I bought 2 sets of these last month and have used it at two large venues already. My wireless speaks sound exactly the same as the wired ones. Great job on this one! Made my set up so much easier! No wires Mom ;-). BTW, yes, I use this product with my wireless mics as well without any problems!
Way Cool! I tried a wireless system from Vocopro and it did not work. I see that this system is much better than any thing that is out there now. Thanks for the info!
@Erikgmz The only way it would work would be to use it in conjunction with your amplifiers, and those would have to be located remotely as well. Thanks for watching.
@Interceptor3394 Having said all that, there are other high quality wireless systems out there, such as a Shure SLX which has frequency reproduction of 45-15,000 Hz. The receiver just isn't as nice & small as the Sennheisers. But...that would be another option.
@crankupthevolume1517 In theory they should last 7-10 hours according to the manufacturer. Depending on how much music you're pushing you should be able to get 1 or 2 events per set of batteries. We always err on the side of caution and prefer to toss them when they get down to even half power left. You definitely don't want them to die during a broadcast. Not a pleasant sound. Thanks for checking it out.
thank you , now 'I'm convinced. i used it in a setting where the place wanted me to use there system and house dj left there units there i used it and i could not believe it . wow . this place was huge . i said this ain't going to work . i just order it
@Conferencesound You would easily be able to accomplish that scenario. You'd just need to play around with transmitter & receiver settings until you were satisfied with the sound. Also it would require either splitting the signal for each of the remote speaker pairs (not really recommended)...OR...just running one cable if you can from the first remote speaker to the second...on each side. Check out our more detailed video we just posted on the system. Thanks.
I would think it would be more valuable from a PA mixer aux output. Then you could potentially control a separate mix to the extra speaker(s). Obviously 2+ aux outputs could mean you could do multiple rooms/zones with multiple wireless systems. One application I'd find useful is you could even have a separate iPod/computer playlist/etc for dinner music and control both separate mixes from your DJ station.
@Interceptor3394 Specs for these systems are available on our website (you can find the links right under this video in the description). The bass response in this system is limited by the wireless components, which range from 80 - 18,000 Hz. Might not be ideal in a setup where bass was critical-content under 80Hz gone. The systems are available in 3 different bands: "A" = 516-558 "G" = 566-608 "B" = 626-668. Over 1,600 tunable and scannable frequencies pretty much eliminate interference.
this is sweet. I have a mono switch on my mixer, so I can send a coupled signal to the two wireless speakers from the transmitter mounted in the fashion you've shown. But, when can those do that don't have a mono switch?
I have 2 questions and if answered with what im hoping to hear then im SOLD! =) 1. Do your powered speakers set up wireless have good Bass because the example you had playing was a pretty basic song and I am a DJ of house/ Drum and I need quality powered speakers that can support my boom lol. 2. What frequency do those devices run on and if there are too many wireless devices within the same area with that same frequency will they get cut over or interfered with?
I have two quick questions: What was the product again? And is it possible to have the signal from the mixer to the powered speakers wireless? Please get to me as soon as possible thank you
Awesome Video! I have a Sannheiser Lapel mic and did a similar set using the receiver box, but that XLR transmitter in the 1st speaker is bad ass. Can you please give me the specific name of that product and price. Also where are you located as I want to buy one. Jeremy
These wireless systems are tools available to help make a good system even better. Nothing replaces talent, nothing replaces knowledge, nothing replaces being prepared. If a DJ sees the value in systems like these, that DJ will make the investment. Nowhere in this video is it mentioned that spending money makes you a great DJ.
Rick, GREAT VID. GREAT INFO. THANKS. Have you tried sending the signal from the board (main outs or after eqs or other signal processing) with the transmitter and transmitting the signal to (2) two separate identically tuned receivers into two different wireless speakers? I am interested in sending my left main output to 2 speakers and sending my right main out to 2 other speakers. Or is the key to it a matter of having the volume fairly constant thru the transmitter?
Hi there, I like this set up a lot cause it saves you the stress of running long cables in awkward situations. Having said that, can you use this wireless system for passive speakers particularly Gemini GVX 15s cause that's what I use. And if so how would the set up run. Many thanks
Hi Rick, I just bought this system and LOVE it! What would you recommend is the best sound setting for the transmitter's sensitivity and receiver's AF gain? I am using this system with K12's and a mobile dj.
Thank you for this video and many of the other great ones you all have done. I am just currently looking into wireless setup for the future and wondering since this video is almost 3 years old would you still recommend this setup primarily with the QSC speakers or would this work best better with other speakers in tow. This is overall an excellent way that you have brought to the attention with helping cut down on so many running cables also adds the option for a 2nd room dif music fill.
Go right to our website and type "wireless speaker" into the search field. All of our systems are available there. And yes, you can totally use this system directly from your mixer if you choose to. Just takes the right kind of cabling and a little finesse.
Great video. Thank you for posting but i have to ask: How do you feel about the Alto Stealths which seem to be so popular? Also, what are the best speakers to work with this? Sorry for all of the question but we are planning a large 'socially distant' outdoor event during the summer. ...closer to when this Covid thing finally draws to an end. Do you have a location in New Jersey?
You can use as many receivers as you want with a single transmitter. Definitely check out the systems on our website agiprodj dot com. Our System #5 has a single transmitter and 2 receivers, then you can purchase additional receivers. Thanks Malarky!
How many receivers can be used with one transmitter? In other words can I simply purchase one transmitter and then run 4 receivers to 4 other powered speakers? Please let me know as I am very interested in this set up. One Love, DJ Malarky out.
Thanks for watching. We have people tell us all the time that any old wireless mic system will work to pull this off. We can assure you that is not the case. Our systems are the best possible solution to transmit audio wireless to remote speakers. Hands down. Thanks for watching!
Hi Rick, what model is this sennheiser system and what do you get with it? Also what is the cost and can i add another transmitter each time I want to add another active speaker running a wireless signal? Thank you.
hey agiprodj so i ended getting a set of ew g4 , i went to use it the weekend of labor day. man i did what i was do to get them to work . well thought i did . but was not the case . could not get then to work . i call customer service. but i would like to see if there's a video on how sync there to work with the pioneer controller thank you.
The ability to control a master mix of the same music & announcements in all zones is what makes this important. During toasts & cake cutting the DJ can be in that room where the guests are which is what most MC's do anyway. This system makes the event more seamless. And perhaps most important, it leaves the iPod (which many guests own themselves) out of the system and out of the DJ's hands-which surely looks a bit less professional and potentially cheap to the client. Thanks for watching!
Even though the video is a couple of years old, the technology is still the best out there in our opinion. And you'll have success with it using a variety of powered speakers, not just QSC. There are countless ways to use systems like these, and we're the place to go to get the right answers. Thanks for watching!
Not if you are blending off the mixer itself. Why would you listen to the speakers to mix? I am a DJ and I always use my monitor or headphone and never the speakers. Only check the speakers for sound quality or in case it lags or peak/distortion. if there is a delay, only you would know.
@kparadoxx We just uploaded another video on this system breaking it down in more detail. There are two ways you could do the system featured in this on-location video. One is to purchase an additional receiver (or better yet just another whole system)...OR use one system, then an actual cable to that 2nd remote speaker in the video.
Ok thanks for your reply. I enjoy your videos. I guess we all have different ways of doing things. I personally would've just had another small system in that room. If the bride asked you start the cake cutting song right as she's was about to cut into the cake? How would handle that, if your laptop is in another room down the hall? Have a great NYE!
Explain your input settings as far as db settings, attenuation switch, mic or line in outs? Regarding Transmiter, Reciever and Speaker settings. Come on people?
yes...please explain how the wireless transmitter is able to accept both a mic signal from a mic and then use it to accept a line signal from powered speaker....don't you have to attenuate the line out signal going into this plug in transmitter?
Have you guys tried the Sennheiser's vs the Line6 Relay system? I've thought about trying the G50 since I can stick them to the back of my speaker, but if the Sennheiser's would work better, it would help alot. I was thinking about 4-6 for my main sends, plus 4 for my monitor sends when I do band gigs.
i use this configuration since more than 12 years ,but the problem you can cancel the noise ( BRUIT DE FOND) .i try with Denon is very good no more noise ,but sound is latecy 1-2 ms
i have read your blog about the wireless speaker's...... what is your opinion on the digaital wireless.... like line 6/ audio technica/shure digital.... why didnt you include digital wireless in your blog. line 6 has a audio spectrum range of 20 to 22k.
Question for you - Can I plug the transmitter in to a zone out from my mixer, so I can control volume of the wireless speakers. I primarily want to use these for satellite speakers in the far corners of my main room. Is there any latency? Also can battery last long enough to make it through a full gig? 5-7 hours?
What is the best wireless setup for speakers but you can choose to have it powered by either batteries or ac power so I don't need to worry about batteries going dead. needs to have high quality sound.
Hi agiprodj, I would like to know how the transmitter connected to your mixer? is it connected to main out put of the mixer? thanks in advance for your reply. ..omar
I have the same unit but use the Booth Out on my board for the remote speakers. The hardest thing to do is the settings in the units. There's always hiss on my remote speakers. I wonder if I could hook the thing you hooked up to the first speaker in the "out" line, directly from the "outs" on my Mixer, to my mains.... Would that work?
So, why wouldn't you just stand by the speaker hook a IPod and wireless mic to the back of one speaker and daisy chain the other. If it's just for dinner music and one specific cake cutting song why do you need to control it from another room that you can't even see into? Love the idea, don't know about the application. How would you know exactly when to play the cake cutting song if your not even in the room.
Please Help, I purchased this system from you guys and recently at some halls when I plug the transmitter into one of my powered JBL speaker i'm getting a loud humming/static noise out of the that speaker and the one I'm sending the signal to? Any ideas why? Gain is down, I scan for clear channel at every new hall. I unplug it and both corded speakers sound fine. thx Jon
You called those body packs “receivers”… They look like transmitters… Are they transmitters and receivers or just receivers? I thought the receivers were in the form of a rectangular box.
We have posted a very in depth blog about Alto Stealth vs Sennheiser, along with other methods of doing wireless speakers. Take a look at the link we put in the description of this video. Thanks for watching.
The Line6's will of course be able to pull this off. But we feel that the Sennheiser systems are superior. And best of all, they are NOT digital. Despite the hype, digital is not the answer.

Great insight. A solution for many problems. Very helpful delivery as well. Thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks man I do appreciate your help and quick response. I'll be checking out that package asap. One Love, DJ Malarky out.
This is a great idea. I was doing that years ago at events like Notting hill carnival, from mixing desk area to amp racks
This thing is Awesome!!! I bought a couple sets from Rick at agiprodj. They will hook you up with the best price and support (and extra cable). I posted a review of their product on their site.

The possibilities are endless, we agree!
5 stars.. great set up!! When I'm ready to buy I'll give you guys a call
This is really cool! I'm especially impressed by the third set up down the hall in another room. I'm discouraged by the price, though.
6 years later and Qsc still haven't make a wireless speaker why?
thank you , now 'I'm convinced. i used it in a setting where the place wanted me to use there system and house dj left there units there i used it and i could not believe it . wow . this place was huge . i said this ain't going to work . i just order it

i just checked your website, and i was wondering if i have to buy 2 sets of this system to do like this... thanks.
Vocopro Air Net works great for me! I like your setup though.
Nice video thanks
DJ Mikey Mike
a signal delay would be nice so sound from speaker matches the distant live sound.
Hi Rick,
I just bought this system and LOVE it! What would you recommend is the best sound setting for the transmitter's sensitivity and receiver's AF gain? I am using this system with K12's and a mobile dj.

I love it.. can you send me all what I would need to do this.. the brand you are using in this vid. thank you..

What a great idea..
You'll definitely want to watch our most recent video on these systems, we do a live mic demonstration on delay. The delay is immeasurable.
How long do the batteries last in those things(noticed they were only AAs?)
I could of used that so many times!!!
@Koshy1 Unfortunately, no. The DMX signal cannot be processed by wireless transmitter.
Explain your input settings as far as db settings, attenuation switch, mic or line in outs? Regarding Transmiter, Reciever and Speaker settings. Come on people?

Hi there! is there any video about subbass wireless system? or if the same setup for subbass ,well working too? thanx 4 video
What is the best wireless setup for speakers but you can choose to have it powered by either batteries or ac power so I don't need to worry about batteries going dead. needs to have high quality sound.
Hi agiprodj, I would like to know how the transmitter connected to your mixer? is it connected to main out put of the mixer? thanks in advance for your reply. ..omar
@agiprodj is there a number I can contact you guys so we can determine what I need and see if we can work out some sort of package and what not?
I have the same unit but use the Booth Out on my board for the remote speakers. The hardest thing to do is the settings in the units. There's always hiss on my remote speakers. It doesn't matter what I do to the settings, there's hiss. I'm using the G2 system with a extra G3 receiver. Any insight on the settings?
Who is the table top case manufacturer ?
Hi, how is this device compared to the alto stealth pro. Since you guys carry both product can you do a comparison video please.
I have found you forum (djshelpingdjs.com/wireless-speaker-systems-sennheiser-alto-stealth-others-which-method-is-best/) but what about the alto stealth pro?
the Alto sucks balls.. i own one and it picks up a lot of other interference when using outside and breaks when using between walls..
Rick, I saw you in a previous video where you did a setup for a wedding. you were using two American audio subwoofers.
what are your views between the American audio and yorkville subs
is there any lag/delay when using this system. I'm asking because if there is it makes it difficult to mix/blend music.
I question if the output from the speaker is line level or mic level? At line level it will work for some time but will eventually fry the transmitter!
Actually the Sennheiser packs are designed to work at both line & mic level. Nothing is going to fry the pack. They have one of the widest sensitivity settings available, which is why they work so well.
Thanks for sharing this.
I wanna do the same but I have not enough budget for buying Sennheiser Systems. Is it possible to do with something like Mailada WM8/WM9 transmitters??? Those are 60-100 USD systems and, as I can see, you need plenty transmitters and receivers.
Is the battery life dependable
For a remote speaker in the same room, can you configure a delay in the receiver/transmitter to compensate for the remote's distance?
Any working thoughts on doing this with the rack mountable receivers vs the Bodypack receivers?
I wonder if I could hook the thing you hooked up to the first speaker in the "out" line, directly from the "outs" on my Mixer, to my mains.... Would that work?
Yes, it will. *Any* mic input.
Very nice, awsome
will a wireless mic work through all the speakers? how would u integrate a mic?
So, why wouldn't you just stand by the speaker hook a IPod and wireless mic to the back of one speaker and daisy chain the other. If it's just for dinner music and one specific cake cutting song why do you need to control it from another room that you can't even see into? Love the idea, don't know about the application. How would you know exactly when to play the cake cutting song if your not even in the room.
could one also broadcast DMX signal with this unit ?
Rick, one question; why the ac cord of the speaker is present, meaning why is it there?
Mainly, to power the speaker, I thought.
hi ! i have a question , can i use 1 transmiter for 2 recievers in the same frequency ?
ya can i use it for passive speakers
Please Help, I purchased this system from you guys and recently at some halls when I plug the transmitter into one of my powered JBL speaker i'm getting a loud humming/static noise out of the that speaker and the one I'm sending the signal to? Any ideas why? Gain is down, I scan for clear channel at every new hall. I unplug it and both corded speakers sound fine. thx Jon
Wireless systems that I have seen before are much larger.
