I'm in a subdivision in va.and cruise my 41 B around every once in a while.my son will too on his 51B. We love them ,I grew up on them.he pulls his in area tractor pulls.a good hobby.every time I see an A on video I want one haha.
We're on the road! All new tires, about half painted and running well. Got a pretty decent transmission leak so I'll have to split the rear axle off to fix that but otherwise we're good. Tough old buggers, these JDs. I'll get an updated video going one of these days.
Still working on getting it driveable but not far off from driving down the road. After so long, there is a lot of goo to clean out of the transmission, etc and the tires are all bad. The cooling system was packed full of dirt and leaves so that took a bit of work to clean out the radiator, head, etc and repair the water pipes! It's unlikely to see any real farm work but the neighbors all love it and their kids want hay rides.
That's a nice old tractor! That sound never gets old.
Risky not having the flywheel guard on there.

That's a nice old A,are you using it or running it every once in a while to keep it in running order now?
