7 manual gears. 7 levels of fun. The only cars with 7-speed manuals are this, the Aston Martin Vantage/Vantage AMR when the new gen came out, and all of the C7 Corvette trims. It's a shame more manual transmissions aren't getting an upgrade, meaning 1 more gear. I really think in order to save the manual transmission in North America, it needs to be elevated, whether it's a naturally aspirated 4-cylinder, turbocharged 4-cylinder, a naturally aspirated 6-cylinder, turbocharged 6-cylinder, naturally aspirated 8-cylinder, turbocharged 8-cylinder, or supercharged 8-cylinder. Side note: I had thought the CT5-V Blackwing was going to get the Tremec TR6070 7-speed manual from the old C7 Corvettes. 1 more manual transmission gear would never hurt anybody to have. If I'm being honest, 7-speed manuals should be the norm in today's market.

For all those wanting to order a new Porsche. You may get a completed car delivered only to have it sit at the dealer for months waiting for a Bose or Burmeister amp.
