Honest honest game changer. If you have problem with static electricity in your hair during the winter number one, get a really good root cleansing shampoo or root cleanser in general. If I remember right it has to do with all the build up of product in your hair. Once you get all of it out you should be able to tame it better. Second of all, get a good wooden comb. That should solve most of the problem for your staticky hair. I’ve been using both methods for at least seven years & it works wonders.
I would love to see a video on how to care for and style my naturally curly hair. You've convinced me I need professional products. So once I've got better shampoo and leave in conditioner, I don't know how to dry and style my hair without brushing and blowing all my gorgeous natural curls out and creating frizz, or accidentally straightening it. I usually squeeze out the excess moisture, use a leave in conditioner, then let it air dry or diffuse. I certainly couldn't touch a hairbrush or I'd ruin my natural curls.
Chris!! You've changed my hair life so much! Till I met you I thought I had fine and demanding in care hair. Now I know my hair are actually medium, it can last without a wash for 3-4 day, 5-6 with dry shampoo, 7-8 with proper styling. There are still things that are hard to get here in Poland - like heat protectatan or dry shampoo you advise (so if there are any other products in these categories which are at least ok -let us Polish gals know!) But I still managed to put my hands on redken vol. injection shampoo , conditioner and frizz dismiss cream, purelogy leave-in conditioner, olaplex no 3 and 7, and moroccanoil mask. So I think I'm off to good start. It's been over two weeks and "the" results are there!! Leslie - you're great as well. Big Polish kisses guys!

I think the last girl has naturally kinky coily hair and she came in for one of those Brazilian blow outs... I don't think its really fair of the stylist to call her "troll hair" or to make fun of her natural hair texture.
@@Randomperson16-q4j Im honestly not sure where she's from, I've only seen the clip on this video. Funnily enough though, any race can have any hair texture. Can you do a video on thin fine aging hair. Trying to let the gray come through but it’s more difficult to take care of then highlighted hair. And What do you think of Bondi Boost products?
I have a question: you have mentioned in other videos the importance of leave in conditioners, but what if I left in a little bit of regular conditioner on the mids to ends instead??
I watched through some of your stuff and was wondering if you could maybe cover some more extreme hairstyles like mohawks, scene hair or gothic big hair styles? I would love to know how to not kill my hair by achieving these looks :)
One „hack“ I used, was your hair washing routine, but it didn‘t work for me. My hair is fine with medium density and my scalp gets oily quickly and itchy the next day (oil buildup?). I‘m using Christophe Robin Regenerating Shampoo and don‘t put anything else on my scalp. Other than that, my lenghts look great days on end! Any advice?
I have to use the pin curl method because, although Chris's advice for products and blow-drying has been a game changer, the hair curling method doesn't work for me.
Could you make a video watching and disproving all the hair Instagram accounts that promote their own “custom hair” concoction when it’s really just Monat Marketing. Their everywhere and it’s so sneaky. I almost fell for it once in the past
What do you think about heatless curls? I wash my hair at night. Leave it about 90% dry and wrap it with a robe belt. It gives it waves and volume. I love it but I just hope I’m not causing any damage.
Question, can dry or damaged hair appear coarser than it would be if it was not damaged? After watching your videos, I initially thought I had medium hair, but pushing my hair to day 5 or 6 even with proper washing technique and recommended products results in greasy underlayers and very dull hair on top of my head. After using your recommended products for about a month, my individual strands feel smoother but also finer than they did before. It is hard for me to understand what a fine strand vs. medium strand looks like.
The troll hair is my hair! I am 66 years old and my salt and pepper hair is now to my waist. I keep it in Dutch braids, to lessen damage. When I do go in for a cut, the hair dressers run. All I ask for is a dry cut, then they relax. It takes hours to do my hair, it's thick and coarse. The hairdresser smiling is for a video only, inside he's saying why me!
Hello! Love the videos. I’m in the process of trying to repair my colour/ heat damaged hair. Getting there, slowly but surely!! I was wondering do you have a video for caring for your hair while on vacation? I’m going on a sun holiday for 2 weeks. I’ve fine hair and I would sweat while out sunbathing so I end up washing and straightening my fine hair each day (only feel confident with straight hair, and I’ve zero blow dry skills). I’m hoping to get a blow dry brush to try that, but might not have that for the vacation, any advice? Of course, I’ll be doing the basics, shampoo, conditioner, leave in, heat protector….
Hey Chris, I have a question regarding your recommended product list: do you have any european alternatives? I can't find most of those products in Czech Republic :(
More precisely I can't find any alternative to Pulp Riot Berlin Dry Shampoo and Pureology Color Fanatic Leave in Conditioner. Is there anything similar? Thank you!
Hi, Any tips on how to get volume back into the hair after 12 week blowdry/keratin treatment. I had fine frizzy curly hair now its very fine and flat. Thanks
Hi! I am trying to get my hands on the products you suggested in your videos and the list. Unfortunately I am in central Europe and can‘t order directly from the store without paying crazy customs (correct?). So now my biggest problem is that i can‘t seem to get any pureology products (leave in conditioner in particular) and the redken big blowout seems to be unavailable. What can I substitute them with? Do you have any suggestions? Now back to being entertained by this video :)
Could you please recommend some other hair masks. My hair has bleached Highlights and is fine and coloured. The moroccanoil weightless hydrating mask makes it so dry. Please! Thank you so much from Munich Germany. ❤
I cut my own hair fairly similar to the girl in the 2nd video. Pretty darn close but I don’t tie hair first, just cut them and shape my hair. With long hair, the cost of going to salon will break my bank.
Hi Chris! I would love advice on how to care for my platinum blonde hair while on beach holidays, please (dry/damaged). I have no idea how to care for my hair knowing I will be in water multiple times per day, either in seawater or in a swimming pool.

Hi Chris, do u have any advice on how to keep the scalp clean if we workout often? I workout every other day and find it hard not to wash my hair after a sweaty workout. If u recommend dry shampoo can u include safe products to use as my skin is very sensitive n had skin get irritated with popular brands like batiste etc
Hi, many thanks for your informative videos 🙏. I have a question : should renew the UV protectant on my hair every like 2 days after the first wash? Since my hair is dry I wash it every 4 days , sometimes I wash it in the fifth day. The weather is sunny and dry in my area of the world 😊 Thanks in advance
Have you guys tried the Viori rice bar shampoo? It made my hair so healthy and dense and the conditioner is awesome for my daughters fine hair. I now get a thick nice ponytail compared to before ever trying the shampoo when it was a small grab
How does Leslie keep her curls styled during the week? I bought the brush she uses and it looked great right after washing, but the next day they brushed out.
I wanted to ask a quick question, Pureology made a look for the Pureology Color Fanatic Leave-In Conditioner, did anything change, or is the same with a new design?
Thank you for the advice in your films. I have learned a lot! I have a question: I usually curl my hair by banding it around a rolled T-shirt at night (two braids). I need to spray some water on. What’s your thoughts on those “cold” methods? What are the pros and cons?
Hi, love your videos, learning a lot about hair. I was wondering could you review a product called K18, I have seen it everywhere and would like to know if the product does as it states? Thanks
Love your videos - thank you 🙏 We have the Redken range in Australia but can you pls recommend a good leave in conditioner for fine hair that I can buy locally. It adds up paying shipping fees. Also, I like air drying my hair. Is there another shampoo and conditioner you can suggest that is available in Australia?
Not at all to argue, but genetics can play a huge factor. My sister had extremely long hair, yet it she had butchered it with heat styling and bad products. I did the same hair routine with and my hair kept breaking off and got tangled which neber grew so sometimes the technique does not matter if you have really good genetics but most people do not have that sadly
I wanted to ask a question. What is the best way for me to protect my hair every day while i am at work cause i am a painter. I spray paint almost every day at work and i am also a carpenter so sawdust is always in the air at my work place. So i obviously wash my hair EVERY DAY because of this. My hair is also colored purple and i extremely damaged right now because of mistake that i maid at the beginning of this year while coloring it (my purple hair turned black because of new different purple haircolor i used so i obviously made a bad move and bleached it till it was very blond and then used my usual purple color and all this in a week) and i haven't gone to stylist to cut it since last august. So my ends are very crisp🥲 So i would like if i didn't have to wash it every way to make it at least little better than what it is so what is the best and most gentle way to cover my hair at work? Would love some advice please 🥺

Wait, at @8:25 how did her hair go from poofy and frizzy to shiny, stright and smooth? I'd like to try and achieve that smooth look. Does Blow drying achieve this?
I’m pretty sure she just had a permanent straightening done to her regrowth.
Hi Chris, do u have any advice on how to keep the scalp clean if we workout often? I workout every other day and find it hard not to wash my hair after a sweaty workout. Hi, many thanks for your informative videos 🙏. I have a question : should renew the UV protectant on my hair every like 2 days after the first wash? Since my hair is dry I wash it every 4 days , sometimes I wash it in the fifth day. The weather is sunny and dry in my area of the world 😊
Thanks in advance
ur a life saver
I'm assuming that last one with the troll hair was the result of Japanese straightening needing to be touched up?
What products and styles do you recommend for wavy-curly hair?
Hi Chris, I live on a small fixed income so I can't afford much. What is the best over the counter leave in conditioner plz?
Hi the dry shampoo you recommend is not really available in the uk. What other dry shampoos are good for fine hair?
I love your videos. Could you do a review of the babyliss cryocare cold brush?
Chris, I have a flaky scalp after following your tips. Please help. I've never had this problem.
Was the last one a straightening perm or sth... could it be that she had it in the ends but got the roots (and half of the mids) done
Can you advise on a clear oil for grey fine hair? Olaplex has yellowed my ends😢
Please please please review Aveda shampoo and conditioner!!! My salon uses them as their main supplier and I want to know if they're worth the price
Last one looks like she had a perm a year or two ago xD
Hey please make a video for haircare after swimming sessions.
The natural wash was more about them using rice water instead of shampoo
Thanks
Catching your video early today 😊
Is there a difference in hair care routine for short gray hair? I’ve tried to grow my hair longer but I just can’t handel my heavy coarse gray hair.
Love your videos - thank you 🙏
We have the Redken range in Australia but can you pls recommend a good leave in conditioner for fine hair that I can buy locally. It adds up paying shipping fees. Also, I like air drying my hair. Is there another shampoo and conditioner you can suggest that is available in Australia?
She has mega long hair. I think it's safe to say that she knows what she is doing.
I can't open the recommended product list link.
Leslie's hair!!!!
Thank you for your advice!!! ♥︎
So my ends are very crisp🥲
So i would like if i didn't have to wash it every way to make it at least little better than what it is so what is the best and most gentle way to cover my hair at work?
Would love some advice please 🥺
I'm not a hairstylist but if I was trying to protect my hair I would braid it and cover it with satin or silk scarf.
@@StormyIness I cosign this. You can also get satin lined hats
I use quite a bit of product on my ends when styling, should I be washing them as well as the roots?
Can you make a video on how to keep hair ends healthy, no split ends. I have straight hair i get a lot of split ends
HELP I NEED YOUR ADVICE ON MY HAIR!!
I used to have beautiful thick shiny hair, but now its frizzy, thinner and different layers of ends. The end starts at the mid and keeps having breaks all the way down, it's long but thin i love my hair and I don't know how to fix it. 😢😢😢😢
