As if it wasn't obvious enough that this isn't real from the writing style, recurring names and jobs that AI loves, making partner at a law firm at 29 is ridiculous and that alone shows how nonsense this story is.
I have mixed feelings about this one, there are a lot of extremes OP was willing to overlook just to set boundaries, all because he didn't get the attention he wanted as a kid because his parents were busy busting their getting his siblings out of real crises. Ultimately, it's his choice and right. But it does raise a lot of moral and humanitarian questions.
I don't understand why these people come onto the internet bitching about their whole entire life and then they act like their situation on wanting to go no contact and block their family is like a rocket science math problem that they can't figure out unless the internet comes helping them then when a bunch of strangers tell them this and that all of us and it's like a light bulb goes off in their head and common Sense is finally there but yet you had all this information to come crying to the internet for to just give this whole entire story and do you not like to hear yourself giving yourself the answer
This story sounds fake. I believed at first until the end. How the hell did the parents mysteriously find the op's work place and address despite living states away ?? And the estranged mom supposedly took a flight from one state to another to visit the OP's house unannounced. Lol.
