Enabling PartyCast mode
Reset the Soundcore Mini 3 speakers by holding both Bluetooth and Volume+ buttons for 5-10 seconds.
Connect the first speaker with your Bluetooth device.
Press and hold the Bluetooth button on the Soundcore Mini 3 for more than 3 seconds. The Bluetooth LED indicator will flash white slowly.
Press and hold the Bluetooth button for the second speaker to enter PartyCast mode. Once the LED flashes white slowly, double-tap the Bluetooth button until the white indicator flashes quickly.
When successfully connected, the Bluetooth LED indicator on the primary speaker will continue flashing white, while the LED indicator on the secondary speaker will be a steady white.
Audio from the speakers should play in unison to confirm PartyCast mode has been successfully enabled.

I bought this days ago on Amazon for $40. I wasn't expecting much more than a louder speaker than my smartphone. The sound is well above average. It is SBC codec. This means a lag or high latency when watching movies. I use vlc media player and was able to correct the Sync problem by setting the audio delay to -400ms. Perfect. Movies all good. VLC

I think usually other people don't use the bluetooth speakers like that but I needed it for my laptop which I often move; that's why I find traditional pc wired speakers a pain.
Actually I'm ok with VLC because I can raise the volume of my laptop speakers; I need the external speaker for streaming services Disney Plus and Netflix: a lot of their media (like 95% "a lot") is low low volume and there is nothing I can do.
The external speaker make it not loud but far far better,
but the latency is so bad I think I should give it back: any suggestion?
Did you find any permanent, universal solution to this problem?

7:41 I also wanted to point out that the speaker having an IPX seven rating just means that it was not tested for dust resistance. It could very well hold up better than a speaker rated IP67 dust and waterproof, or it could die the moment it touches dust. however, it doesn't necessarily mean that the speaker is not dust proof, again, it just means that it was not tested to confirm if it is dust proof or not. I personally trust it because the waterproof rating should keep any dust out as well.
That’s true. I feel like for others having the reinsurance of a dust resistant rating helps people not feel worried their speaker won’t hold up to daily life. But hey, that’s me speculating.

This is how a review is done! I bought one yesterday...it's okay.....I was expecting a bit more though. It's not loud enough. I know the size is small, but.....6W is 6W....I need something similar size, with a nit more ooomph. Any ideas?
Hmmm. I haven’t personally tried these yet but either the SC Motion 300 (you lose PartyCast mode) or the SC Glow (with PartyCast). These are the next step up in the soundcore realm
I did hear the Tribit Stormbox Micro 2 is similar to the Mini 3 with a little extra oomph. But the price is higher.
Hopefully soon I can check out these speakers.

mini three is 6 W of sound and the Tribit mini 2 is 10 W. I own the first tribute mini and it has incredible sound.
I have several soundcore speakers that support party cast. It took me too long to figure out how to pair them together. You're right, the instructions on how to do this are not great.

Party cast isn't stereo. It's two mono speakers not separate channels.
only turn off for me is that it's an anker product. the eufy controversy had me ditch all anker products in my life

i can confirm the instructions to pair the speakers is terrible i had to google it, still sound is great and i have a couple of their headphones i would say their products are definitely worth the money

They have the same form factor for sure, I wouldn’t call it a clone though. I think there are some features that sound core has over Sony. But I don’t have an XB for direct comparison.

Nope , it ain’t perfect… it’s mono… anything in stereo and you lose the second channel. The on/off button is old fashioned. You have to take out the SDK card and put it back to listen. Never found the FM channels…. About 10 more flaws… but it looks nice and sounds nice🙂
Can you get 2 of them for real stereo sound ??? Not party casting that just makes it louder
You don’t get true stereo sound unfortunately. This would be a killer feature for these speakers if they did.

I think so, just don’t have the high expectations of it sounding like your cars audio system. If my speakers in my car were bad, I would use the Mini 3 as a backup.

I don't have the JBL Go 2 to compare... BUT I have the JBL Go 3 and im currently doing the review on it right now so stay tuned for that 😉 But otherwise quickly looking at the JBL Go 2 Spec Sheet, the SC Mini 3 is definitely the better option!
