Wasn't expecting that outcome, but happy with it! Proud owner of two Tribit StormBox Mini's! BTW, two soundcore 300's as well! Both really good speakers!
Nice one! I tried the Motion 300 & that was also a very good speaker! The Stormbox Micro 2 is brilliant for its size though - I’m using mine all the time and really like it! 👍👍
Very kind of you to say! 😊 I will always give my honest opinion! My channel is so small I don’t get companies sending me free stuff to ‘review’ anyway! lol
Thanks for taking the time to make and share this video review. I’m looking to buy an updated travel mini speaker and this video confirms my recent research on new mini Bluetooth speakers. Appreciate the unbiased down to earth testing. 👍
Thank you, and yeah it’s definitely the best speaker I’ve found at this size (I haven’t heard the Bose one so can’t compare to that). A great speaker, I use mine all the time!
Thank you so much for your kind comment! Apart from the Rienok all the speakers in this vid are ok for what they are, but that Tribit is absolutely brilliant for its size - just annoyed me that certain reviewers looking at the same speakers try to pretend the Sony or Marshall are better!
It's not an easy comparison because we're not able to tell on video the sound output from these at various volume levels, distances and room configurations. Based on your setup each genre of music had a speaker I preferred over the others... The Tribit sounds like it definitely puts out the most power but seems to me it lacks imaging in the trebles, the Marshall seemed to have nice quality in the higher ranges but totally lacked balanced lows, the Sony sounded balanced across all genres but just lacks power in the low range, it reaches down but it's not a nice linear dive down. The newer Anker was boomy and powerful but not my cup of tea and the old Anker was nicely balanced just weak. The Rienok sounds terrible for the size of the cabinet compared to all these others. Thanks for making this video!
You’re absolutely right, it’s really difficult to assess sound accurately via a TH-cam video for all the reasons you mention. And very difficult to capture truly what you hear when listening to a speaker live in your own environment. I still maintain the Tribit is the best of these by far and the sound in all Tribit’s speakers is improved with every firmware update. Thank you for your insightful comments 👍👍👍
I can’t stand TH-cam reviews, they all continue the rhetoric as clickbait so you keep watching, the manufacturers keep sending them gear to review and they keep getting paid! Thanks for your fair view and opinions
And to add I used to have the Tribit micro version 1, I had two of them in a stereo pair. They had unbelievable timing and accuracy. Paired in stereo, stood upright and set a few feet apart, they would make a wonderful hifi sound with a true center image!!
I was just disappointed after receiving all these speakers that so many reviewers were favouring either (mostly) the Sony or the Marshall over the Tribit when in the flesh the Tribit is easily much better than all the others! Those reviewers are obviously enjoying their free perks from those other companies 🤷♂️
I am thoroughly enjoying this video. Thanks for your honest opinion and input on all of these. I also like to do some research before buying and this helped a lot. Subscribed, and keep up the good work!
The Tribit is the best one! And if you wanted more prominent vocals it has an app where you can alter the EQ to your own liking. It’s definitely the best one out of all these by a mile 👌👍
The sony sounds most natural, the marshall pushes mid kinna high so sometimes it sounds agressive, the tribit one when lie down sounds "blurry" but when it stands up sound super heavy on bass with good details. I think you're bass-head so you prefer tribit one. I would choose sony as it's clear, not too much on anything and great for chilling Another note is that if you listen to pop or chilling songs, the tribit would make the sounds unaturally warm The last one, which I don't remember the name sounds weird
To my ears the Tribit is easily the best & most balanced: I don't think it sounds bass-heavy but it certainly has *more* bass than the others. It may be my recordings didn't clearly enough show this. I should've included my own rank order for these! The Sony would have been my number 2 choice! :o)
My take from this video as well (based on his mic setup anyways). Tribit sounded the most powerful but it was a lot warmer tone than a few of the others... it would still probably be the best of the bunch for a beach party or ambient music in a larger room. Sony one seems like a good set of compromises for this kind of speaker.
Thank you 🙂 The Sony goes louder with better audio quality than the Anker Mini, but the little Anker still sounds pretty ok for its size and is quite a bit cheaper. The Tribit is definitely the best of the bunch though! 👍
Between the soundcore mini 3 and the sony, wich one has deeper bass and wich one is louder? It's really hard to compare through a youtube video, they both sounded very deep to me
The Sony and the Soundcore mini 3 both sounded decent tbh. I think the Sony had slightly deeper bass. Overall volume level was pretty similar as I recall. The Tribot is definitely the best Ali song though, for sure! And you’re right, it’s really hard to capture how the speakers sound in the room as I heard them- I used a fairly decent mic but it’s still not the same as being physically in the room as it is listening back to a video on TH-cam. Have u got Amazon Prime? If so I’d suggest ordering them and sending all back except your favourite 👍
@@accoutrements4469What's that from Amazon Prime? I can order anything and return It after using It with no extra costs? And also, i already have a pair of Sony XB100 since last year i think so i was just wondering if the mini 3 was any better because i LOVE the format of really tiny speakers with Big bass so i was considering a micro 2. But apart from that, i ordered now a Sony Ult Field 1 wich is like the flip 6 and reviewers say It sounds really good. Any plans of testing It? I'd love to see that review
Yeah I bought all these from Amazon prime so I could compare them and just kept the one I like best (Tribit): free delivery and free returns with Amazon prime, no questions asked 👍 I’d love to try that Ult Field! Not sure I need any more speakers but might get one to try it 👍
IMO the quality of the speakers differs pretty strong from genre to genre (or even musical pieces). There were samples where I liked the Marshall Willen most.
Yes, I suppose people will have different perceptions of audio quality for different genres… but overall, for me at least, there is absolutely no question whatsoever that the Tribit is by far the best choice overall. If you really want the Willen go for it, but its audio quality was definitely not the best (IMHO) in the room to my ears, despite it LOOKING the best out of all the speakers 🤷♂️
Treble is very directional. Where as mid range is bouncy. And the bass can penetrate obstacles. So for clarity to be picked up by the mic the driver should be pointed at the mic. Regards.
Yes I do realise this and perhaps should have had the speakers all pointing directly at the mic. I chose not to do this as I placed the speakers the way they’re presented for natural use, eg, the Sony standing upright, the Willen pointing at the mic, etc. If that makes sense? 🙂
Yeah, good comment!! And I think the Flip 6 is fantastic- 100% a better choice then the Marshall (or any of these tbh - they only have their smaller size in their favour - none of these can compete with the flip6!)
@@ShubhamKumar-jp1zn it’s rated for 12 hours. Hard for me to assess if this is accurate as I use it intermittently and haven’t tried to time it, but 12 hours would seem to be about right I think. I don’t have to charge it very often anyway. The battery performance is good, I’d say. 👍
