I can't find a direct option in HA, others might be aware of an option, but I guess you could just use the state card to change what's shown on it for guests and kids?
You can restrict visibility of dashboard views to specific users on HASS. Edit the dashboard, and then select the pencil icon next to the view you want to restrict; click the visibility tab, and select which users should see this within the navigation bar. You can then have seperate dashboards which are only available to specific users. Admins within HASS will always see all views.
Some of these look quite nice, but Personally I despise slider cards, as they are annoying to operate. The state card might be nice to hide my thermostat cards when its summer. though for this I use a currently basic calender based automation
I can see lots of uses for the state card. I think the slider cards work well depending on use, they can be annoying when you're trying to get an exact number - so much easier just to input the value.
@@Byteofgeek What I find annoying is that the doccumentation for Calender based automations is barebones, where I can trigger a event based on {Event_name=XXX}, instead of a main trigger, haven't found how to do this yet. else I would make 1 automation list Calender, to trigger everything

Hi. Can one disable the Overview dashboard for guests/kids. Else sharing hassos is pointless

@ Thanks. I ended up taking control of the Overview dashboard and using Kiosk mode
