I think no man's sky needs planets like the first trailer they showed us. we need planets with waterfalls, planets with big forests, planets with big snows, planets with huge and dangerous animals and absolutely we need civilizations and cities.

Games For Cykits Unfortunately you require ps plus to access the multiplayer components of No mans sky. Then again the other two aspects of the update will most likely be centered around single player so you can always be excited for that.
Not really, I've seen these elements many times, it's just renewed model from NEXT. The only thing concerning are these "blades" on sides, but that might just be an angle.

These floating thingies look very alien, like on anomalous planet, or something on the level of Atlas stations. Stations seem to be more solid than anomalous, even the Anomaly itself. 2. The spaceship was landed randomly on the ground, rather than on special landing pad, rotated towards the exit. 3. It's huge AF, probably bigger than the Atlas station interior. You could fly inside!

Rubiks Sphere I’m hoping some like pvp events or something like that or we can build a base together and stuff and if there were actual cities on planets that would be dope (naturally spawned ones)
Speculation: This could be part of a city on a planet. Look closely at everything in this short clip. 1. Everything is HUGE, as in MASSIVE. 2. On either side of the "portal" at the center there are lights that seem to resemble neon signs. 3. On both side there seem to be large poles or skinny structures that could be various buildings or towers. Another thing this place could be, and more probable, is it could be a staging area to fly your ship through the portal that will take you to various community hubs. Hence the online enhanced multiplayer already mentioned. A few other ideas that come to mind. 1. Larger and more complex space stations, 2. Multiplayer style freighter, 3. enhanced Atlas station for a longer and more en-depth story. Or, it could be nothing and just a mesh of building parts in order to create this short ass teaser of a teaser trailer. At any rate, I am hyped af.

@@astropgn There's no reason it needs to. Color pigments could be based off flowers, minerals, bugs, etc, in the environment... You could have a million different shades, but to find the right one for your ships you'd have to go out and look for it... Or trade for it with another player that has found it. In fact, the trading bit could be very useful: Ship parts with different visual details and features could require that you track down ships with what you want and acquire a blueprint through disassembling. At which point you can produce parts with whatever quirks you want from raw materials. Meaning you could have an economy based around salvaging ships and breaking them down, then selling parts. No two players would have the same inventory.

You have redeemed yourself many times over after the launch, Hello Games. I was never truly aboard the hype train to begin with. Being on the sideline, so to say, i have watch update after update making it better. An incredible progression has been made. I salute you all. Just amazing.
The Love they get Hello Games gets now is just heartwarming. So awesome to see this killer comeback story. I was always rooting for them personally but its so cool to see them change the minds of most of the people who were (understandably) soured from the launch.
Whatever this turns out to be, HelloGames deserves massive credit for the amount of work they put into this game. NMS always had potential, but it needed the dedication and love to see it reach it's true potential. Massive credit to the team for all their efforts.

The potential for this game is as epicly endless as its actual galaxy sized sandbox. Just an incredible concept that has fought through adversity to bring us one of the greatest games ever made in my opinion. Where this game is going is just as exciting as the adventure it provides and personally I never want a sequel. I just want NMS to keep evolving through updates into the future across time and generations platforms. I want to be there for NMS 20 anniversary on PS8 and it be an accumulation of its own awesomeness! So much respect to Hello Games, their developers and staff for supporting this game the way they have, never giving up, and supporting its some parts spoiled rotten but mostly very appreciative Fans and players. This is so much more than a game for some.

New anomalous space stations? Customizable ships? Maybe? Anyway this goes, I'm happy and excited.
I just want them to remove the cap on terrain editing somehow.
Customizable ships would be great, people could paint all their ships one color have a fleet or something, or just have them random colors.

You have redeemed yourself many times over after the launch, Hello Games. I was never truly aboard the hype train to begin with. Being on the sideline, so to say, i have watch update after update making it better. An incredible progression has been made. I salute you all. Just amazing.

The Love they get Hello Games gets now is just heartwarming. So awesome to see this killer comeback story.
I was always rooting for them personally but its so cool to see them change the minds of most of the people who were (understandably) soured from the launch.

This is exactly how it happened to me. Back in December 25th, 2016 I got my PS4 for the first time and *No Man's Sky* was my first game!

Whatever this turns out to be, HelloGames deserves massive credit for the amount of work they put into this game. NMS always had potential, but it needed the dedication and love to see it reach it's true potential. Massive credit to the team for all their efforts.

The potential for this game is as epicly endless as its actual galaxy sized sandbox. Just an incredible concept that has fought through adversity to bring us one of the greatest games ever made in my opinion. Where this game is going is just as exciting as the adventure it provides and personally I never want a sequel. I just want NMS to keep evolving through updates into the future across time and generations platforms. I want to be there for NMS 20 anniversary on PS8 and it be an accumulation of its own awesomeness! So much respect to Hello Games, their developers and staff for supporting this game the way they have, never giving up, and supporting its some parts spoiled rotten but mostly very appreciative Fans and players. This is so much more than a game for some.
