It's great!! You are very good at explaining. Thank you for encouragement! I will try to do this, because I wanted it all my life, and never had the time. God bless you.
I tried using a piece of poster board as a stencil and sprayed the back with repositionable adhesive. The shirt was black and I used 3 cans of tulip spray can paint. After It was dry I took the stencil off and the edges bled through. So now I have to buy black and touch up the edges. Frustrating.
Tara M - just dry to the touch between coats. I didn't really time it and can't recall how long it took each coat to dry. The white is harder since you need so many coats. If you did like blue paint on a white shirt, one coat would be fine and you could probably remove the stencil before the blue paint even dried.
Not sure what they'd call it in the Uk but here's what I used: Get the heat transfer tape at USCutter here: www.uscutter.com/NEW-Siser-TTD... *or if link doesn't work, go to uscutter.com and type in the search bar TTD Easy Mask
eileen shalam If it's just the plain clear Cricut transfer tape then it's not heat resistant. You can use left over carrier sheets from HTV (heat transfer vinyl) or use the stuff from USCutter that I link up to in the video description.
This is a horribly shot video, horribly narrated, horrible in every aspect... yet exactly what I was looking for. Heather, you are a gem, I love you. you have made my dreams come true. Thanks. lol
Looks Very Good! Looks like a fun diy!

I've done this before and you got everything, but to people who don't have transfer tape, you don't need it. I did it without it
Can I use a heat press instead of an iron??
This came out so great! Why do you need the Heat Transfer Tape? Can this be done without it?? If so, would the result be different??
@SocietysRejects thanks. 😊

Great idea!!! Did you wash it? How did it turn?
Great video! Can you tell me where you got the pineapple image? Thank you
Don’t you have to heat set this?
How did it hold up after washing?
Hi Kara! As long as you hot iron the t-shirt to "cook" the paint into the fabric,it will hold forever ;)
????????Heather, tried to upload the darling pineapple into Cricut. Cricut telling me it can’t upload from dropbox....oh what to do?
Update?
What brand of Freezer paper do you use?
Az Leland Reynolds brand freezer paper (it's in the section of the grocery store or Walmart near the Saran Wrap, foil, etc.
Did you wait for it to be completely dry In between coats? I know you said you did about 5, do you remember how long it took?

Great work what do you use to cut out the stencil?
Hi Mathew, I use the Cricut Explore Air 2 but simpler designs can be cut out using an x-acto knife.
Ok thanks can you the cricut machine to cut out your own designs?
