How long ago was this story, Jimmy? I ask because I don't recall it and I've been around for a while. I do recall the two that you and Jared mentioned. I also wonder what the prior business in the building was before it became a hotel. If they hadn't asked the management about these occurrences yet, then I understand why they didn't name the hotel: that would be a very good way to get yourself fired! But I do hope the place did get some help since it seems like the guests are having a far worse time with these spooks than the employees are! Fyi folks, a water fountain that has a sensor can turn itself off and on for no reason as a way to show that it needs the sensor battery changed! My employers and I found this out recently when the sensor on their kitchen sink faucet started doing the same thing. I'd turn it off, start to walk away and halfway across the room, it would turn itself on again! My curiosity question now is why the sensor batteries are going out: are they old or are the spirits draining them? Are other batteries in the hotel doing this too? Other electrical problems that won't go away? Hummm.... It might indeed be a ghosty or two! Y'all take care now! May God bless you and yours. 😊
@@nancyholcombe8030 this was one of the very first stories we ever featured this was 2021 or 2022 I think. There’s one in Roanoke Virginia that used to be a restaurant that’s different from this one.
My workplace has weird stuff go on too haha. I work at a strip mall. There’s one figure we collectively call “the ghost lady” who comes in the door and then vanishes in a corner. She (or another ghost) said “hello!” To us one night after around 8 pm. Voice sounded either very young or asian. My coworker has also been told “good morning” RIGHT into her ear not long after she opened the store one morning.
There are several places in roanoke with higher level activity. Grandin area and Downtown are probably the 2 highest. I lived near Catawaba hospital when I was a kid. The house was weird.. whole area was weird.
That’s creepy! I’m from roanoke and I’d love to go check it out. Too bad they didn’t list the name! We have so much history here, the trees up here talk in Roanoke.
@@SpookyAppalachia I’m sure I can dig some up. I live in the bent mountain area. I myself, have had paranormal activity at our house. Turns out, the place on the mountain we live, used to be tribal land used by the Monocan tribe for years upon years. No doubt, there’s tales from the canopies of the blue ridge parkway just ten minutes from our house.
I’m a skeptic, but also a part of a paranormal team full of believers. We would be happy to investigate if I can get their information. I’m not aware of any new hotels in Roanoke, so any information would be great if possible.
i think thats a job i would have to give up no matter how desperate for work i was! i always imagine a big old building having hidden tunnels and secret passageways that anything or anybody could reside in!🫣
