Greetings from Washington! I’m going on a solo trip again, but this time to Mason County. It’s my first time visiting this part of Washington. I’m not sure what to expect. Haven’t heard anything about this area before lol. While it’s fun to visit major cites, I also like to explore obscure places.
Sometimes I make detailed itineraries. This time I’m traveling at a slower pace. It’s a calm trip filled with nature, exploring the local town, and talking about random stuff. Even found my personal treasure at an antique shop! One thing leads to another and sometimes the best things happen without advanced planning.

Lord, I never been so envious of one's travels. I love the tiny space you were staying in. I love small spaces. And the nature and the rain is so gorgeous. If I didn't have anxiety driving or fear that I would lose my stuff during my travels, I would be doing stuff like this on my own.

Hey Mina! I LOVEEEE the rain too! Haha I felt alone in this but glad to know that you love it too. The sounds it makes - pitter-patter... or sometimes it's torrential downpours.. or sometimes it's light and drizzly... sometimes we get a treat and we get hail and those bring about a whole new experience, ambiance... it's like mother nature's symphony. Sometimes when the snow is half pillowy and half icy, when it lands you can almost hear it too - all of these are just wonderful to absorb and soak in. I even love thunder and lightning... I actually like to sit outside in the rain sometimes while it's thunder storming and watch the lightning show in the sky haha - feels alive... the whole experience is awesome... and I really mean the AWE in the word awesome. This is why I love to solo camp too... sometimes I rent one of those lean to's (it's like a tiny home but smaller - more akin to like a shed). I like to get the ones where it's bare bones - just an empty box with a wood-burning stove or furnace. Oh and the burning firewood ... the sounds it makes... don't even get me started... haha. Tents are always a great experience too (more for the cool/warmer seasons while the lean to's are for winter).
I love the sound of the rain too! There's a whole website (rainy mood) and genre of TH-cam videos dedicated to the sound of rain, so I don't think we're alone ☺️

OMG. I did that last week. I went to another state and visited a small town with a cute downtown area. I went "glamping" in the middle of nowhere. Found hot springs and watched the sunrise and went to Zion park and went through the narrows. It was the best! Everyone should experience a solo trip. Great video!

You are right about some food can be good for you and not so much for others. When I was younger I tried a diet based on the blood type. The list of food produces that are good for me versus bad for me was strikingly accurate in my case. There are some elements that I really don't digest well and they were mostly in the to be avoided column. Unfortunately, it's not an easy diet to follow if some members of your household are not of the same blood type or simply because there are too many good things that you need to stop eating! I prefer to suffer occasionally that avoid some pleasures of life!

Thank you so much for saying that one person’s super food can be another person’s poison. I’ve said this for many years. But I get a lot of opposition and ridicule. You just have to accept that not everyone’s body is the carbon copy of another person’s, even amongst siblings. Let go. Breathe. Different bodies are okay, good, and fantastic.

Know that I with many others believe with you ❤️ There's a lot of misinformation out there about food and how it affects our bodies (there are some things I used to believe in that turned out to be false, so it's all been a life-learning process). Kale does mess up your thyroid if you consume it everyday. About 5 yrs ago there was a video on youtube (now deleted). This video contained a study on Kale and sheep. Of course the farmer fed the sheep grass and other sources of food... The farmer had two fences dividing his sheep. On one side he had kale plants and on the other side no kale. Most of the sheep that ate the kale everyday ended up with neurological disorders years later.
