The lottery rep told me their contract says no more than 9 in a row on the 50's. Hold on to those and complain. He's the rep for DeLand. Former IRS guy he said. We just had that conversation two weeks ago.

You guys are better off with $20 tickets. $50 tickets from what I have seen very rarely get big wins and all you get are a lot of $100 and $500 wins and you can get those on $20 tickets as well as claimers. We don’t have a $50 ticket here in NY, most expensive one is $30 and it’s hard to lose on those but I can’t imagine $50. I would not buy $50 scratch offs.

I've been playing scratch tickets since the beginning I've hit claimers on 2 -5-10-20-25-30 dollar tickets over the years but I've yet to get a claimer on the 50 dollar tickets.
