Remember the days before the media server? Content creators were in an arms race to see who could film, edit and publish a character guide first as soon as the new patch went live. Now, the second the patch is up all the guides are made visible to the public all at the same time. One moment, my feed is cat videos and DBZ music videos, the next moment it's flooded with "CHIORI is INSANE."
things have definitely changed since then, i've never personally been able to catch up to the speed of some other creators, so i've just accepted that i'll do my thing and it's out when it's out (but still trying to be as fast as possible because unfortunately views matter)

Was trying to build an Itto team on my new f2p account, and got a lucky Chiori while I was rolling for Gorou. Glad to have some early help on building her :D
See I was going for gorous (only got 1 after 80 pulls currently c2) and when I hit the 5 star it was tighnari and even tho I would've been fine with chiori for my itto team I was glad that arlecchino was guaranteed. But that relief was immediately taken from me as chiori was the next pull. Like my first double 5 star when I really didn't care either way. I'm so mad about gorou tho like how dare he not come home when I always try for him. Got a million yunjins tho who is already c6 so that great 🙃

i've been enjoying her in a chiori/albedo/zhongli team with either yelan or neuvillette 😊since they are my only characters who do nice damage without relying on buffs lol
It is possible to have both dolls trigger the Cinnabar passive simultaneously, as the effect clears 0.1s after triggering. Thus, as long as both doll attacks happen within 0.1s of each other or space their attacks by 1.5 seconds, it becomes possible to trigger Cinnabar's passive consistently. Granted, this is can be a bit hard to set-up intentionally. A method I've found is to always lead with Chiori's skill, then mash E to swap to your construct creator to instabuild. The doll's attacks should be spaced out enough to trigger the passive. Fun fact about the coordinated attacks, the dolls can do them even outside their conventional attack range. I think this is because the attack functions like Ei's skill rather than originating from the doll itself. I found this out when I oneshot a hilichurl with her initial skill damage, then promptly snipped a faraway enemy with a normal attack on swap.
I stopped playing Genshin Impact cause some update issues but will still continue enjoying content others make to know what is going on, thanks Xlice for another amazing video :) hopefully i will be able to play again sometime in the future. ❤
Amazing and very insightful video top marks 👍 But me being well me ha I'm struggling to understand the bit at the end: The fact that her dolls are not Geo constructs is both a positive and negative because while it does give her kit consistency and reliability because they won't get destroyed it also does not synergize with any other Geo unit that has constructs. The only thing that I can think of that this means is that since there's no other character that has talents that affect Geo constructs being created by other Geo units (as far as I'm aware) it means that even if you do pair her with another Geo construct unit say Geo Traveler said Geo construct unit won't be benefitting from well anything at all. TLDR to me at-least is that Chiori benefits from other Geo construct creators but other Geo construct creators don't benefit from her.

Cant even strongbox golden troupe pieces yet😭 i havnt even touched the domain yet cause i had navia and xianyun to farm for in the echoing woods and songs of days past domain and now i have chiori and ill be getting her weapon too. SO MUCH FARMING
i literally just got her today after rolling like 6 times and that's 6 roll after i've got Xiao in the previous banner after 4 roll, i'm not even kidding lol .. although the game did give me Diluc twice before so i guess the it's is making up for me
So her weapon is only good for Geo. I was thinking of getting it for Alhaitham because of that massive crit damage, but since I have Ayato's signature already, I feel like it would be an absolute waste if I don't get the character herself.
"switches to next character" Mobile players: who's the next character? On mobile, the characters doesn't have a set number, you can switch characters slots around during gameplay.
The next character from top to bottom. If Chiori Is in the 2nd slot, you'll switch to the character on the 3rd slot, and so on and so forth. If She's on the 4th slot, She'll switch to the character on the 1st slot instead.
Lowkey she seems like a really cool c6 unit to go for, it changes her playstyle and allows her to achieve maximum slay on the field. Ofc i dont have the money to go for any c6 5star 💀
If her talents are based on ATK and def why doesnt the harbinger of dawn’s base ATK matter at all? Wouldn’t it still add to the ATK portion of the kit?
great guide as usual Xlice, still she feels very underwhelming, she still pass for me, for other people like her want get her, go nuts, personally id skip her wait for new 5 star or get someone else you are missing.
Don't like how she's off-field focused especially since she's the first character with dual swords animations which makes her unique, she's a skip for me just cuz of that.
Lemme see... 1. Her personal damage as solo geo pretty similar to Albedo, but without the drawback (Albedo construct can easily destroyed) 2. Having another Geo that can make geo contruct effectively double her dps. Can't do that with Albedom 3. Dual scaling instead of split scaling, making full use of both defense & attack, as well skill & burst. The only thing Albedo got it going is 100 EM from using his burst, which is situational at best (in Hutao double geo) & downright useless at worst (in Itto/Noelle mono geo)
@@adippful yeah but you can also do more damage with Albedo simply because his skill counts as a geo construct.. if you have Zhongli in your party that is. They are both on the same level I'd say. With the recent 5 stars we got she's underwhelming still

I love genshin i really do but if wuthering wave ppl saying its gona be a WHOLE lot simpler to get copies than genshin impact ever could provide im taking my dollar there, i dont like the idea that if i want to get the most out of my favorite character i have to spend ridiculous amounts of dollars just to achieve that not to mention the weapon copy scam.......genshin is 100% p2w unless you cope and say well u can c0 beat the whole game....but are you having fun with the character you truly enjoy?, because i dont have fun with the base 4 stars ill tell you that...

Yes! It doesn't matter if the summoner's construct appears or not, a doll should pop-up, so no worries for bosses hitboxes that are too thicc
