Welp. That sucks. It would have been nice if Tamoto is considered a geo construct AND more importantly it enhances other geo constructs (Zhong pillar, Albedo flower, etc) to be nigh unbreakable. It would "fix" some geo construct problems and it wouldn't even be that OP considering how good dendro reactions are and the newer fontaine chars like Neuvi and Furina.

I got Chiori within my first 10 pull and no guarauntee i then pulled 50 more times and got my c1, then with only 11 pity i did a 10 pull on the weapon banenr cause i had a ton of leftover wishes and got uraku, now im stuck with a lvl 20 uraku i cant level until later this week and shes stuck at lvl 50 for today haha but i got so lucky for once completely F2P im so happy i wanted to share it.

I have skipped Kazuha for so many waifu. I have a C6 Sucrose. Frankly, I'd rather use her. Aqua Dragon is interesting, but they didn't sell me on him "Soloing abyss" with the last combat event. At C0 I was kinda just floundering around trying to get his hydro pump to ... work at all, and got tired of trying to use his ass before I was done with stage 1. Everyone after that is so many patches and days away that I'll probably have another 90+ pulls saved up after I get my mitts on Chiori's weapon. Already got her, already dropped 40 pulls on the weapon banner.
I love Chiori she is literally me I pulled for her while sitting under 8 layers of tulle on a formal dress because I didn’t want to loose my place by climbing out just to take my 15 minute break
It would be nice if mihoyo would give us new craftble weapons with identical stats and passives as old evebt weapons. It doesn't make the old event weapons a lot less special since they're still unobtainable, but it also doesn't limit newer players either
As a Yoimiya main that enjoys playing Navia, seeing Chiori get the Yoi treatment made me feel a primal need to pull her. Thankfully won the 50/50 and am throwing in occasional singles to hopefully get c1.
Hopefully, this tip is useful: (At 1:55). Instead of saying “dolls won’t easily be destroyed”, it’s better to say “dolls CANNOT be destroyed”. The former implies they can still be destroyed, just with much more effort.
I get that constellations are meant to be good upgrades, but recently with Chiori, Wriothesley, Neuvillette, Furina, etc. I feel like the potential of most of these characters are locked behind early cons... Kinda wish it weren't the case 😥😥
I got her unintentionally while trying to pull for Gorou and saw this video. It was great timing. She came early and I saw Sevvy's guide right when I opened YT. I also had 21 of the boss materials she needed because I farmed for Lynette but I guess it's for Chiori now. Things are aligning which probably means I was meant to get her. I guess no Neuvillette next banner lol
I really really wanted a multiplier on that Geo Infusion and a wee bit longer duration - but I guess they tailor-made her to be an off field damager huh.
Chiori is a great addition to the Noelle + Furina team. Even with one doll, she does more damage than a team with Goro because she uses Furina's buff. Noelle's ideal team has finally formed: Noelle/Furina/Chiori/Elan.

Even with no Arlecchino she herself is kinda mid or at most average. she isnt anything new or fun people will probably go for a rerun banner anyway even if Arlecchino wasnt next.
@@FireClare If you actually run the numbers instead of just doomposting, she's actually pretty good. For instance, in Hu Tao, XQ, Zhongli, Yelan (Hu Tao's most balanced powerful comp) she's a very slight downgrade to Yelan if you swap her in. How is a slight downgrade on Yelan mid?

I've loved her ever since the Fontaine film festival, her sassiness is just perfect! I'm not pulling for C1 since I really want Arlecchino, but I'll still try her on a Navia team or a Zhongli team and see what works. Also, she allows me to get my Cinnabar Spindle out from storage that was collecting dust.
I really don't like how Chiori is basically a better version of Albedo. At least it's not a total powercreep, as Albedo has the advantage of his Skill having vastly superior AoE (so much better for mobs), giving an 125 EM buff with his burst (Chiori has no support capabilities in her kit) and being able to take advantage of Gorou's buffs due to his skill being able to snapshot. However for single target scenarios or small groups, assuming both the main dolls are up, Chiori should be doing about double Albedo damage damage when both are at C0. I already have a C2 Albedo so I won't be pulling for her, although players who are truly dedicated to Geo should consider picking her up. I want to add that Chiori really wants her C1 if she is going to be paired with Navia (since Navia has no constructs to use). I can see boss killing in the Abyss quite fun for players who have both of the lovely Geo ladies. 😀

For weapons ,chirori also scales with atk, you can still use weapons with high atk%, yes it won't do as much damage as DEF but you can still dish out some damage out of it as it also scales with atk%
I would not be surprised that Iansan is a Geo character from the Natlan Chapter of Teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview. She breaking the earth... so that's another potential teammate for Chiori.
omg i loved Chioria :) But due to real life i was unable to play Genshin due to her release. I was not able to get her this time :( But I plan to save up for her re run next year :) I was able to get navia thankfully. I hope Chioria comes sooner, but if i wait a year im happy with that :)
Her ascension 1 passive is weird. Why is not just a part of her elemental skill? I feel like that's a waste of ascension passive. Her C1 geo construct removal would've been better as an ascension passive
I think what bothers me the most is that C1 should've been part of the main kit. as an endgame ar60 player all I want are new exciting ways to play, and chiori at c0 is kind of a pain to build around
Glad I saved wishes for her. When her banner started I had 235 wishes saved and when I finished I now have 58 left but I got c1 Chiori and Jean's c6. She is a very cute character and she is very strong. Clear upgrade from Albedo.

Probably the best thing about Chiori is that we can get an Inazuman Geo party with Itto, Chiori, and Gorou, with the last slot being taken by your flex of choice like Kuki, Kokomi, etc.
I can't see myself having fun playing Chiori til I can pull Zhongli (I also don't have Itto or Albedo). But she's SO cute! With Arlecchino coming up.. it's really difficult to pull for Chiori.. and I'm like 40 pulls from a GUARANTEED banner 5-star too.
Thanks for the detailed guide. I think she's highly skippable, has no role to play in the story, and requires constellations to be fun and match with more than just Zhongli. Time to hoard for Arlecchino. Dual swords was the opportunity to allow her to infuse one of her swords with geo with her skill while allowing her other sword to be infused by other elements from teammates.
I was at like 70 pity, not soft pity yet, Savin for Kazuha while thinking building a lil pity and 1 pull wouldnt hurt, its gold and I win the 50/50 and gets chiori, so ig im here now
Amazing start of the video xD 10/10 Love it xD As for the Chiori... I love her personality, her design, her being fashior designer, but her kit... It is good, sure, but basically she is just Albedo+, which for me makes her character that I will never pull. I have Albedo, so I don't need another copy of him. She can deal more dmg than him, her construct can be undestructible, sure, but I don't care about that aspects. What I care for is interesting gameplay. Sadly, unlike almost each new character from 4.x, she doesn't bring anything new (I mean, she interact with geo constructs, but that interaction is very minimal) :/

Can you confirm if that's indeed the case? :) If it does, it would be fun to see how fast a team can travel when paired with a character with the day/night time speed boost XD
Noones mentioning the fact that the dolls hit underground enemies like wenut and ruin serpent cus they keep running her in the first half of abyss lol she actually demolishes them.
I dont need Chiori, i love DPS Noelle and thanks to Furina i finally have that, but i really like Chiori as a character and after testing her on her try, it looks it could be fun for overworld. So yeah, i guess its that time again: forget meta, embrace Waffles.
I tried her out with c0 and pre c6 gorou on Noelle and Furina team and it’s pretty good. Beacause I have 2 buffers chiori’s burst for me does pretty good dmg!
I got Chiori on my 34th pull (75 pity), which I'm not too upset by since I still have a few pulls left, I could have done with less Dori though (+3). I also used a 10 pull on the weapon banner, hoping to get her signature because I was at 50something pity, but no...I got Itto's instead 😑I did get another Alley Flash to refine Layla's, so it wasn't a wasted 10 pull. I'm still slowly building her, because I am Zhongli when it comes to mora, but she'll get there.
Thanks for entertaining and informative guide. Really like this character, but same as Yoimia, her playstyle seems very boring, especially after we get gunbrella boss. Still, exited to see her in events and stories.
I initially dismissed Chiori as mid and an easy skip. However I freely admit I was absolutely wrong about her. Chiori is brokenly overpowered. My C4R1 Chiori can actually outdamage my C6R1 Yae Miko. Initial skill damage = 100k Then 2x Tamoto attacks (~50k each every 3.6 seconds) for 17 seconds. Ultimate = 100k C2 = triggers 3x initial skill damage (100k) over 10s after using ultimate. C4 = summons 3x Kinu dolls after using hold skill (50k damage each) Passive skill (tailor made) = triggers Tamoto to attack your target (100k - 2 times max). That's nearly 1.5 million damage just from Chiori during one rotation! This is how you use Chiori in a mono Geo team: Zhongli skill (creates Pillar). Chiori ultimate, hold E, swap to Gorou. Gorou Ultimate, Gorou skill. Arrataki Itto Ultimate, Arrataki Itto skill. The overall team damage is absolutely insane. It can nearly compete with Neuvillete/Kazuha/Furina/Baizhu, that's how busted Chiori is.

I can't see myself having fun playing Chiori til I can pull Zhongli (I also don't have Itto or Albedo). But she's SO cute!
With Arlecchino coming up.. it's really difficult to pull for Chiori.. and I'm like 40 pulls from a GUARANTEED banner 5-star too.

I think she's highly skippable, has no role to play in the story, and requires constellations to be fun and match with more than just Zhongli.

Dual swords was the opportunity to allow her to infuse one of her swords with geo with her skill while allowing her other sword to be infused by other elements from teammates.

I was at like 70 pity, not soft pity yet, Savin for Kazuha while thinking building a lil pity and 1 pull wouldnt hurt, its gold and I win the 50/50 and gets chiori, so ig im here now

As for the Chiori... I love her personality, her design, her being fashior designer, but her kit... It is good, sure, but basically she is just Albedo+, which for me makes her character that I will never pull. I have Albedo, so I don't need another copy of him. She can deal more dmg than him, her construct can be undestructible, sure, but I don't care about that aspects. What I care for is interesting gameplay. Sadly, unlike almost each new character from 4.x, she doesn't bring anything new (I mean, she interact with geo constructs, but that interaction is very minimal) :/

Hi Sevy, according to the skill description, it seems that Chiori's exploration passive also works with wind gliders as well. Can you confirm if that's indeed the case? :)
If it does, it would be fun to see how fast a team can travel when paired with a character with the day/night time speed boost XD

Noones mentioning the fact that the dolls hit underground enemies like wenut and ruin serpent cus they keep running her in the first half of abyss lol she actually demolishes them.
Never in my life did I think I'd get Chiori at 26 pity but now I'm debating going for C1 just for better off-field pairing w/ Navia
I'd say pair her with geo MC (that should be c6 by now) and have fun with the crit boost.

i only ever pull for characters i find pretty, (neuvillet as an exception) and dont really care about dmg so kokomi and chiori are a must pull

I want to use Wolf-fang on her. But I can’t STAND the blue color with her color palette. So Cinnabar Spindle it is.
I dont need Chiori, i love DPS Noelle and thanks to Furina i finally have that, but i really like Chiori as a character and after testing her on her try, it looks it could be fun for overworld. So yeah, i guess its that time again: forget meta, embrace Waffles.
I tried her out with c0 and pre c6 gorou on Noelle and Furina team and it’s pretty good. Beacause I have 2 buffers chiori’s burst for me does pretty good dmg!
Does Gorou allow her to summon the second Tamoto on that team??

Buliding her would be easy for me because I only roll def stats 😭
I don't even play Genshin anymore, but she's so beautiful and elegant it makes me want to pull for her anyway.
I got Chiori on my 34th pull (75 pity), which I'm not too upset by since I still have a few pulls left, I could have done with less Dori though (+3).
I also used a 10 pull on the weapon banner, hoping to get her signature because I was at 50something pity, but no...I got Itto's instead 😑I did get another Alley Flash to refine Layla's, so it wasn't a wasted 10 pull.
I'm still slowly building her, because I am Zhongli when it comes to mora, but she'll get there.

Really like this character, but same as Yoimia, her playstyle seems very boring, especially after we get gunbrella boss. Still, exited to see her in events and stories.

I initially dismissed Chiori as mid and an easy skip. However I freely admit I was absolutely wrong about her.
Chiori is brokenly overpowered.
My C4R1 Chiori can actually outdamage my C6R1 Yae Miko.
Initial skill damage = 100k
Then 2x Tamoto attacks (~50k each every 3.6 seconds) for 17 seconds.
Ultimate = 100k
C2 = triggers 3x initial skill damage (100k) over 10s after using ultimate.
C4 = summons 3x Kinu dolls after using hold skill (50k damage each)
Passive skill (tailor made) = triggers Tamoto to attack your target (100k - 2 times max).
That's nearly 1.5 million damage just from Chiori during one rotation!
This is how you use Chiori in a mono Geo team:
Zhongli skill (creates Pillar).
Chiori ultimate, hold E, swap to Gorou.
Gorou Ultimate, Gorou skill.
Arrataki Itto Ultimate, Arrataki Itto skill.
The overall team damage is absolutely insane. It can nearly compete with Neuvillete/Kazuha/Furina/Baizhu, that's how busted Chiori is.

I got Chiori but I literally have no characters that synergies with her 😭 I just pulled the banner for a "lol imagine I get her in 1 pull" I was saving for a guaranteed pity Furina 😭😭😭 I have the wishes but I could lose the 50/50
4th flex slot for a hyperbloom team is fine!
And you still have a solid 6 weeks of wish saving before Furina.
