    I like your style. It shows that there is no catch. Just a hard working guy that has a reason to be proud of his work and is willing to prove it. The world needs more guys like you.

    It's a great suggestion I did exactly the same thing this week for a new customer, but ultimately time will tell to see if they want me back

    I have given a lot of free cleanings for storefronts but haven't had any convert to a client. Maybe my approach is off. It is definitely a gamble.

    Great tip Joe! I ALWAYS give a free demonstration cleaning on one lower level window at residential estimates. I tell the customer to find the dirtiest window on the lower level so we can show them our process (this also makes them laugh and keeps my batting average at an amazing .950). You've got the key... show them on what you do rather then sell them what you do. If you're needing to build a route this is great advice!

    I LOVE offering a free cleaning. It is tested and for me guaranteed clients. What I have done is done outside for free and they call me back a day or a week later and have wanted to talk about price and schedule. Like you said Joe, it shows you have giving your time to them. To prove your work

      @@Alwaysbrightandclear this method is great, I even updated my business cards with weekly. Bi weekly, or monthly on the back. Yes who wants to work for free? But if your looking at the long run.... it pays for it self 100 fold.

      Hey Awesomeness great practical advise! What other info do you put on the free service card, like exclusions?

    • @Alwaysbrightandclear
      @Alwaysbrightandclear  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There aren’t many exclusions since we are only offering window cleaning. We explain what we are there for and what the free service is. Which is a full normal cleaning in and out just like what they would receive from us if hired for regular service. Hope that answers your question!

    • @carlossaldua5298
      @carlossaldua5298 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Alwaysbrightandclear Okay great that makes sense. And you get to pick and choose who you want to offer that to. Like for example if it's more like a construction clean-up style clean, you might not offer that...

      Depends on the amount of glass, difficulty of the job, time it takes to do the job. Everyone’s rates are different. Best advice do what ever works for you and your business at the moment and adjust accordingly as time goes on. We have increased our rates substantially over a 3 year period

    You are teaching your clients to NOT value your work. If YOU don't value it enough to charge for it why should the client? I really hate this idea. Sorry.
