I love looking at my new Rex!!
I got the kit yesterday and built all of Rex. I have no idea what causes it but when I putt his left foot in the footstep, he is leaning so far down that his bottom jaw is barely touching the ground. I don't know what I did wrong, it doesnt make any sense.
I'm thinking I can fill in the front half of the footstep with something to give his position a little of an incline and but also make it look clean. Any thoughts?

What do you suggest as a beginner painting set to buy? I have zero experience
id try acrylic flat model paints from gamesworkshop or Vailejo . use dry brushing techniques and it will come out well. tons of videos on youtube will help you.
With those paint choices... brilliant stuff... top quality paints ..excellent for drybrushing
Hiya many thanks for the vid , have just finished my copy of this model and everyone loves the detail the dry brushing really brought out the scales , definately went well with air brushing

Absolutely beautiful paintwork, exquisitely done 👍and thanks to you for a heads up on plastic putty 👍Ive been using milliput for decades, it's wonderful but awkward for tiny, fine repairs. That PP should do the trick nicely.
