Genshin Impact (2.0) - "I Hear Thunder" Achievement

This attack can only occur while fighting a Crackling Axe Mitachurl during a thunderstorm, stand under it to get hit and earn the achievement. YASHIORI PERMANENT STORM DOES NOT WORK. I moved time forward 24 hours into midnight repeatedly to spawn a thunderstorm, but be warned it can take a long time. My method is to watch the sky as time changes until dark clouds form, then exit and check for thunder, if it's just rain, then simply repeat until a storm.
If there is no Crackling Axe Mitachurl for you at this beach, then try these 2 locations instead:

This is how you get it easily:
Go to Violet Court Domain (Inazuma)
Choose lvl 38 domain and add Barbara on your team
At the 2nd wave use her elemental skill to make him wet and get close to him until you get the achievement :))

did you move time every hours? do you exit the time menu to check the weather?

Sorry, for clarification I basically would move time forwards around 24 hours into midnight repeatedly, watching until the sky formed heavy dark clouds. Whenever clouds formed, yes I would exit and check for a thunderstorm, but most of the time it would be just rain, so I would repeat the process until clouds formed again and check until a thunderstorm.

It apparently doesn’t even work with the Yashiori thunderstorm anyway, so you’ll have to use the one at Chinju Forest, or Nazuchi Beach instead. And of course, this means simply waiting for a thunderstorm to appear by changing time forward 24 hours repeatedly.

How long did you wait until the big hilichurl use that attack? Having a hard time completing this achievement been waiting for his attack in minutes.

It happened quite frequently for me as long as a thunderstorm was occurring, definitely didn’t have to wait longer than a minute, so I’m not sure what’s wrong.
